Wow, these fans move some air, even on the lowest setting, they create a cooling breeze. This might be too much for folks who just want a little airflow. But when it's 110+ degrees outside and you're AC is working to keep inside below 85, these fans make it all more bearable. Having these has made the summer here in central CA much more bearable. I have one set up at my cycle-trainer to keep me cool during workouts but also to mimic riding in the wind :) These run very quietly, the remote is functional not fancy. Love the quiet. Great air flow and they seem really well made. I read a review that said they were metal, but as soon as I picked up box, I knew that was false. There is 1 screw and the motor may be partially. Surprised at the cost of fans these days and I just got these for the price. Would give a 5 if they had a higher speed. Nice fan. Well made heavy metal stand and basket for fan also isn't plastic. Love the airflow and quietness. I gave 5 stars anticipating it will last at least as long as my plastic fan's. Easy to assemble. You will need a Phillips screw driver and 2 AAA batteries for remote. I'm very satisfied with purchase but will review again if the fan stops working or becomes noisy or rattle after awhile ... show more

These were fairly easy to put together and are fairly quiet The controls are touchpads and are a little difficult for me as I am visually impaired The fans are brown and so are the controls so they’re difficult for me to see I have to feel for them, but otherwise I am greatly satisfied with these fans ... show more
