  • How does it work: Pebblebee Clip is an alternative to AirTag or Android AirTag. This means that the device connects directly to your phone via Bluetooth when it is within range (up to 500ft), and when you are further away the devices gives position location based on your other devices updating it's location. A sound from Siri or Google Assistant will help you find your valuable things.

  • Cute little clip
We have a google phone and a galaxy phone, the app works perfect with it on both. I love the rechargability of the clip. The find me app doesn't have an exact meter, but it does display an "okay" for battery life. We got it as a "hidden tracker" for our now preschooler, so it being rechargeable is great. It is also our first "tile" like tracker. I did not expect it to be so small, but the size is perfect to sneak in where I wanted it to be. Pushing the button for connecting it alluded me for whatever reason, but my husband got it right away. Just one of those things, I guess, but it wasn't a broken thing since he got it right away. The volume is good, the light up is really neat if we needed it. We don't though, so it's not a useful thing. At least not yet. So far, it's been great! ... show more

  • Worked for a couple weeks, great... Then nothing.
It worked great for a couple weeks. We really liked in for our dog. Was great to see her location in case she got loose or to see where the kids were taking her on her walks. Then it just quit. Won't charge, won't turn on, nothing. It sucks because I hate the Apple AirTags. I was going this would work as well as the reviews made it sound. ... show more

  • This device is very accurate, easy to set up.
I was trying to find a device that worked on android. One that would work as simply, as the ones does on IOS. I do have to say that this one did an amazing job, it's simpler to find then having to go through smartthings as you do with the samsung. It's easy to use on the find My device screen just like you do with IOS. My daughter is currently away at college (overprotected. Father here), she has the air tag as well as this one. This is definitely more accurate as she will tell me where she's sitting at the university. The ios is just a little bit off. Not by much, but this one's more accurate. The cost is a little bit higher but I do like having two different versions just in case, definitely worth the purchase. ... show more

  • Good for how limited the network is
So far this does what it says it does with decent accuracy. I haven't been able to utilize the tracking ability much outside of just what I assume are pings off of my own phone so far due to the more limited Android/Google Find My network. It does a pretty good job when I check periodically as I'm out and about, although I do wish it updated more quickly when I'm on the move. I do hope in time that the network expands as privacy settings adapt. No issues with pairing or set-up, as a new user to these types of devices. Updating software was also very simple. So far the battery life seems to be good, but I have not had it the whole year yet. The best selling point to me was the ability to recharge the device and reduce e-waste. I also happen to have silicone dust covers already for my phone charging port, wireless ear buds, etc. which are perfect for keeping the port on this safe too. They are very inexpensive to get and many come in a pack. A newer version also has come out since I purchased which can utilize either network (but not at the same time) so I will be trying that out with my partner's phone (apple network) as well to compare. The testing continues.... ... show more

  • Works as intended!
Model: Universal Clip
Easy to connect right out of the box and works well after using for 1 week. The location is not as accurate compared to airtags but still provides great location and sound works very quickly. Overall good value and rechargeable ability will save batteries cost in the long run.

  • network still needs to improve, but the device is great
Model: Universal Clip
The form factor for this device is great. It uses USBC for charging, which I really like compaired to the propriatary cable need for the Pebblebee tracking cards. I had a samsung phone with their trackers and they definately have more access, especially abroad, because the tracking network is on many of the phones by default, whereas the Google find my device has to be turned on, so the network for tracking is just not as robust yet. I would recommend the device and it worked well with my Pixel 9 phone. Hopefully as time goes on, the tracking network improves. ... show more

  • These suck!!!
This thing sucks! Don't buy it. I suppose if you're not going to use the network and only Bluetooth around your house, then sure. I want it to track items if stollen. I tested it out with my friend and the app never even noticed he left with it. Oh, and the Find My Device Device app works, but the Pebblebee app doesn't. I bought this to use the Pebblebee app as it has much more features like alarms if your item is moved out of range. I contacted customer service and they kept telling me to reboot the system, which I did multiple times. Custom service just ignored me after I asked if they can help me as rebooting it wasn't working. I noticed that for this thing to work, people with Androids need to have their settings changed to let this clip share locations. I'm assuming most people don't have these, so there setting aren't opened to share locations, so this is probably why this item doesn't work everywhere. It doesn't really work, it's really not that accurate, and customer service sucks. I would say to wait until this thing picks up and more people have it. Also wait so they can fix their Pebblebee app and better train their customer service. ... show more

  • Rechargeable bonus of 1 star brings it up to 2 stars.
My wife and I have had Tile for awhile but they were dying so decided to try moving to the new Android location service and liked that these are rechargeable. I'm sadly disappointed in the implementation but I don't entirely know who is to blame. This would have gotten one star if it wasn't rechargeable. We probably used the Tile to locate our phones as often as we used it to locate our keys. That feature is not available if using the Google network with these, only if you are using the Pebblebee network. This means running their app, which means more battery drain and it isn't visible to the Google network. So if you want the full capability you have to use the Pebblebee network, which is presumably much smaller than the Google network. If you want a super simple find my tracker if it is lost, then the Google network is probably bigger but you lose other features. Also, the ring that comes with it is practically useless as it falls off so easily in your pocket. I had to just put a standard keyring on it because the clip kept opening up. ... show more
