It's disappointing how loud and chattery most needles are with this machine. It does not run smooth at all half the time. When it does run a needle we'll, it's beautifullly smooth. However, it's frustrating that I use Peak Quartz needles and it can't even run those perfect.

Buy the cheaper version of this machine. Don’t buy this particular model. It’s very difficult to wrap the machine with a protective barrier and still have the options of adjusting needle depth and needle stroke. The machine works easier and isn’t practical with the battery pack, unless you purchase the wireless foot switch. Which by the way is a pain in the $@& to sync up. There are way better machines for the same or less money. Peak makes great needles and a few great machines. This particular machine is crap. I’ve had since this past Christmas. It’s been in Peak Needles custody since feb 1st. I still don’t have the repaired / warranty claimed machine back in my possession. They say it’s going to be 2-3 weeks. Reviewed in the United States on November 13, 2023 by It’s a decent blade. I’m convinced it’s not real Damascus steel. I think it’s maybe laser engraved or something to look like Damascus steel. Other than the obvious, it’s a cool cheap knife and sheath.

I bought this for the convenience of having an adjustable stroke and it being wireless. But, I’ve found that the battery doesn’t last anywhere close to 10 hours. It’s more like 3-4 and most of the needle cartridges I’ve used with it are very loud.
