I have 30 acres of land and live close to a busy highway. Unfortunately, my dog likes to chase cars. After doing a lot of research and pricing other collars with GPS monthly subscriptions, etc. I chose this one. It took a little training with this collar. I had a remote control collar before, so my dog was aware of the vibration, beep, and shock features. Because of his previous caller, he was trained within a day. If your dog is not familiar with these types of collars, it will take more training. It is very easy to set up. It may take a little trial and error to find the centerpoint and how many feet you would like your dog to go. Sometimes the collar may lag in the GPS location if your dog is running fast. Also, if your dog is under a porch or building, the GPS will not have a signal. Overall, I am very pleased with the collar.

THESE GUYS TAKE CARE OF YOU!! I have had one of these collars since spring, and it worked well at my house in the mountains of New Mexico. When I got to Northern Michigan the collar wouldn't register a satellite. I wrote the company, and they immediately sent me a new unit. It also didn't work, which I assume means that my remote area doesn't have decent satellite coverage. I am very impressed with how responsive Weiz's customer reps have been and in how they've gone above and beyond in trying to help me. I will try my unit upon my return to New Mexico, and I bet it will work just fine.

Our kept leaving, since we don’t have a fence. Neighbors kept complaining. I decided to give this a try. I was skeptical about activation since it seemed complicated but it wasn’t. Took me a little to play with it and get the hang of the distance in yards all around. It works well, doesn’t hurt the dog even on higher lever. Just a small vibration to alert. No shock or anything painful.

We bought two of these for our great Pyrenees, because they kept running off and making trouble for us at the neighbors. Suddenly, it’s not fun making trouble at the neighbors house anymore! This company is really awesome because one of our collars started beeping and shocking uncontrollably, so they promptly sent us out a new one, and everything is good again! We haven’t been using the tags to be placed around the yard because we didn’t want to accidentally mow over them, but I can see that our dogs need a visual to remember where the boundary is. As I can trust them more, I will likely increase the distance they are allowed to travel around our property.

The price is reasonable compared to the other brands. Our metal roof and all brick home interferes with the signal from a indoor unit. This collar works all by itself and is a fraction of the price of others. My dog has no problem with this at all. No need to buy batteries just plug it in to charge it. The only negative is that I received 3 short metal prongs and only 1 long. My dog has long thick fur so I need to be using the long ones. Please send more long ones.
