Easy to put together and I am 76 so that is important to me. I would say that you will need something with a larger space or free roam your hens. Two is about all that will fit. I am happy with mine.

I don't see how a regar sized chicken could use this. Luckily we got it as a house for our barn cat and I think it will be suitable. I figured it would be pretty lightweight and cheap and I was right. The instructions weren't terrible but it was all on one page (front and back). Took some studying to make sure I did it correctly. The roof didn't quite fit in the lower part but I was able to force it into position by putting a board on top and smashing it with a hammer. If you are buying this for regular sized chickens, don't. If you have 2-3 very small birds like quail maybe this would be ok. Personally, it will work but I would never buy it again. ... show more

It was definitely easy to assemble, it was however smaller then I anticipated even though I was led to believe up to 3 chickens could live in it, I suggest only 2 or a smaller breed of chicken. It will work till I get to my new place then I'll get something bigger and I'll use this to raise baby chicks in. Other then the size it is okay. ... show more

Easy to put together. We are using for two rabbit. Would be pretty tight for two full size chicken. We move it daily so rabbit get fresh grass and added wire on bottom so they can’t dig out.
