I am a very large woman. I needed thigh compression and couldn’t find the right fit, either stuff was cutting off my circulation in my thighs or it was too big with no compression. I bought 2 of these in a medium and wrapped each of my thighs and them and it worked wonderfully with keeping the swelling down on my thighs. Wanted a lil’ compression on a developing hernia however, with that compression, comes irritation on direct skin: I would suggest wearing a light t-shirt or cami under the belt.

This has been such a huge help (relief) after a nasty side strain. The stretch is good, it allows for good compression and isn't too big or small. The length is great, it goes just a bit over the hip, but not too much. It provides good support and an important reminder not to turn poorly and makes the pain worse. It's also quite lightweight! I would strongly recommend wearing this over an undershirt as the binding on the edge is more rough and stiff than the majority of the binder, folks with sensitive skin or aversions to uncomfortable fabrics will want that barrier layer to keep them comfy. Overall though, I'm very pleased.

Not as rigid as I'd prefer. I'm not sure how long the velcro will last. It didn't roll up which is nice.

This is very supportive, adjustable with the velcro, and gives good compression. Much better than the hospital versions. My only gripe is that it seems to run a little small, so if you're on the high end of their estimates, perhaps go for the larger size to ensure your comfort.

This is a quality product that has superb stretch, excellent adhesion when connecting ends, and offers great support. In brief use it did not roll up, was not uncomfortable and has exactly the right give and stretch, I would say! This is a very versatile belt for any gender and does not show under a tee. Not much to add, nothing negative here, it is just a great belt/band!

I recently had a chance to use the Pauline Abdominal Binder after my C-section. As a busy mom, recovering in the midst of family circus is no joke. From diapers to chasing after my little monsters, this belly band has truly been a godsend. The band is made of a soft, breathable material, that even my admittedly touchy skin fell in love with. The Velcro closure provided me the ability to adjust the compression level to my own comfort, allowing me to customize the fit as per my need. While it was a tad snug in the beginning, it's nothing that a good-old tugging won't fix! And if you're taking into account my ex-circus performer hubby's antics while adjusting my wrap, well, let's just say it's been quite a laugh! The band has been effective in reducing my swelling, and more importantly, easing the discomfort that everyone conveniently forgets to mention comes along with post-surgery. In terms of sizing and fitting, I believe this abdominal band is indeed designed to cater to a wide array of body types - although maybe not as accommodating for my Uncle Couch Potato. My only gripe? The fabric started looking a bit rough after some use. But, considering its affordable cost and the comfort it provides, I'm gonna say it's more than a fair trade-off. In a nutshell: If you're in for a post-surgery support system that's not only comfortable but doesn't make your pocket scream, the Pauline Abdominal Binder could be your new best friend.
