This product worked well for a while, but I noticed my hair, which is very fine and thin, drying out and becoming unmanageable. I tried using it with their conditioner for fine hair with the same results. To test if it was the shampoo, I went back to Nioxin #2, with better results. I have very fine hair, so it needs lots of styling. The purple Paul Mitchell shampoo was leaving it dry. This shampoo seems to protect it. I have only used once, but I am satisfied with the moisturizing qualities and my hair didn't get fried when I put it through my styling routine.
