LOVE my phone! I read tons of reviews. Some people love the phone, some people want to seem uppity and "smart", so they complain about little things, but I have no complaints after 2 months. Yes, you have to go through and set ALLLLLLL the settings, but once you do it, it's done forever. It charges really fast, I can hear people loud and clear, they can hear me loud and clear without having to hold the phone at weird angles like on some phones. I have good signals, games work well. The only annoying thing was the auto lock after 3 minutes on games due to the game launcher which happens even if you disable game launcher. To turn the annoying game screen lock off, in settings, search "auto touch protection" and set it to NEVER. I had to do this on a tablet as well. It took a lot of searching to find the fix for this because the name has nothing to do with what it really is, but that's how to turn it off. The AMOLED screen is really nice. I put a case with a built in screen protector on it and it is still very touch sensitive without using the more sensitive touch setting. I LOVE this phone. ... show more

It's a really good phone. The camera works very well too. It doesn't come with a charger, I had to order the charging block separately. Sort of odd it doesn't come with the charger. I still really like the phone so far.

Great upgrade from my old A11. Total price was $300 but it was well worth it. Wicked fast, beautiful screen, and 128Gb of memory. Seamless transfer of all my apps/files/etc. from the A11. Transfer of my phone number and minutes to the new phone was super easy on Tracfone's website.

    • I like this phone but…..
I like this phone. Bought it to replace my a20 Samsung Tracfone that kept running out of memory. Everything switched over seamlessly until it did an update. I spent countless hours on the phone with Tracfone customer service trying to figure out why the phone said I had data, but I couldn’t connect to data. I went through about 5 different agents before I got transferred to corporate. They told me to shut off the phone for 30 minutes then I would receive a call back. Which I never did. I tried going to my local Verizon store, because I knew that Verizon had bought Tracfone but they were unable to help me because as of right now they are still two different companies. I finally called Tracfone back and after getting transferred to corporate (again) a lady had me remove the SIM card and replace it and it fixed the problem. My balance on my phone is still inaccurate but everything seems to be working with this phone now. I had to delete a ton of preloaded games that came with it because I don’t game on my phone but so far this phone seems to be ok.I just don’t understand why no one could help me with this problem when apparently it was a simple fix. Update 2 days later… lost data connection again. Again talked to another 3 different agents. Had to reset APN settings. If I lose data connection again, I will be done with Tracfone and will switch carriers as this is getting really frustrating. Update. I have never had an issue with Samsung phones until ibought this phone. It is glitchy and now starting to drop calls for no apparent reason. My husband has the same phone and his randomly calls 911. Same phone, different issues but still bad issues. I am dumping this phone as soon as I am able. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE. It drops calls. And husband's phone randomly calls 911.     • Great phone for casual user
Bought this phone for my elder sister to use on Safelink government service. Safelink goes through Tracfone which was bought my Verizon. Fortunately, this phone came with the Verizon SIM card installed. Unfortunately, we still had trouble getting this phone switched to the Safelink number. It took 4 calls to tech support, but it was finally fixed. We had not trouble getting this phone setup with all the apps my sister like to use. Since she has limited minutes, she use WhatsApp to make call at home. Works great with this Galaxy A53 over WIFI. After turning it on, there were like 5 big updates. It did update to Android 13 and I understand, it should update to 14 soon. Can't go wrong with Samsung phones! ... show more
