Miss Tracee Ellis Ross you are a hair goddess!!! The one and only curl queen!!! This product line is the holy grail for me. I’ve never had my curls be this plump, hydrated and soft! I live in Texas where it’s humid and insanely hot plus the water is hard. The entire product line keeps my hair soft, moisturized, and with a healthy sheen. I admit, wasn’t a huge fan of the floral rose forward fragrance in the products HOWEVER, when it dries down it leaves the most beautiful feminine scent in my hair. Tracey Ellis Ross’ curl products actually WORK!! We needed something for our bi-racial grandson!! We tried everything…some other products literally gummed his hair up! This product relaxed his curl without chemicals and gave him that adorable light CURLY BOY LOOK! I have long, curly hair that turns more wavy the longer it gets from the weight pulling it down. This product has helped keep my curls from turning wavy. It really helps with curl shape and it helps with frizz. I don’t feel like it’s drying out my hair when I use it nor is it too heavy that it’s weighing down my hair or making it feel greasy. I like that it’s a creamy gel but doesn’t leave your hair greasy or crunchy after it dries - you can’t even tell I put product in my hair it dries so perfectly (even with only air drying!). I apply on wet hair either after washing or after misting with a diluted leave in conditioner and brushing any knots out on the days between washes and then I leave it to air dry. A little goes a long way. My hair is to the top of my rib cage and I use two pumps of product, one for each side of my head, and after brushing it with a den man brush to evenly distribute it and that seems to be the perfect amount for me. In the NY summer I follow up with a mousse just for added humidity frizz control, but it isn’t necessary the rest of the year.

I love this whole line. Everything is very moisturizing and the moisture stays. I gave this 4 stars though because in the summer time I do have to layer it with another light weight strong hold gel due to humidity. Other than that I absolutely love this gel!

This is my first product to use from this line. Im just now taking a venture into the curly girl life as i have straightened my hair for yearsssss. luckily i still have a good curl pattern. I was really surprised by this product. It smells nice and held my hair well. I feel it also maintained a lot of frizz too!

I love this product. Defined, moist curls that look good all day. Holding 1 star because I don’t like the smell. I wish they would add some essential oil like vanilla or orange. But I do love the way it makes my eye look.
