I just unboxed these....I hope the durability is as good as they look. I ordered the Taupe and they are stunning! I ordered a second set since they only come in sets of 4. Like that the set had two bowls sizes instead of having to pay for coffee cups that I'd never use. I also loved the size and shape of the bowls. The larger bowl will be perfect for pasta dishes...has a nice low rim. Smaller bowl is perfect for cereal or soup. Very pleased with purchase so far. I am delighted with my purchase! My dishes arrived today, in perfect condition. I love the handmade look of the glaze; the slight variations in the color and pattern enhance their appeal. I did not want dishes that looked mass produced. They look expensive; solid and well made with a nice weight, but not too thick and heavy. Just what I was hoping for and I couldn't be happier. After days of looking and reading reviews I decided on the Gibson Elite Matisse, in the Taupe color. I can totally recommend them. These are so pretty! The small bowls were a surprise to me! When I saw how little they were, I had no idea what we would use them for. These turned out to be awesome for snacks and soups! Love these bowls! The whole set is very well made and pretty too! Seem very durable so far also!

This is a gorgeous set. We got 3 of them and no major defects or problems. (There is a slight line on one of the bowls that I think is normal for a product like this.) What I don't like is the bowls are sized a bit off. The pasta bowls are great for pasta and maybe salad, but that's it'. It's not good for soup or cereal. The deeper bowl is good for soup but it doesn't fit in the dish washer well. I wish it were wider. (More like a bowl rather than a cup of soup.)
