The media could not be loaded. I wanted to have a heater for our deck for this winter. I thought this may be a suitable one. It is tall ( about 71”) and has halogen infrared. It works well and gives heat very quickly (in about three seconds)! The infrared patio heater came well packed. It has a round base (about 20” in diameter), three tubes, the heater head with halogen tubes, and remote control. I was surprised to see two remote controls; but, there were no batteries! You have to supply the necessary, two AA batteries for each remote. The assembly was not difficult. You may need a medium and a small Philips screw drivers. The necessary screws didn’t come in a bag except for two. Instead, they were screwed on to the tubes or the base that you remove first, before fitting them together and fasten. The top most tube has an inner telescoping slender tube to which the heater head attaches. I found it convenient to attach the head to the telescoping tube first, and then attaching the tube to the second tube from the base. I really wish the unit had an easily removable heating head and collapsible stand for convenient storing when not used. I have to caution you on two things. First, by accident do not step on the base cover as it may get dented or break. Second, remember to remove the four, black foam rubber cushions that look like lobster claws and wedged between the halogen tubes in the heater’s head. There is no specific caution or instruction about these except for the general statement to remove all packaging materials. Once the power cord was plugged into a wall socket, pulling the string-switch powers the heater. Then, pressing the power button on the remote puts the heater in standby mode. Next, pressing one of the three (500W, 1000W, or 1500W) heat mode buttons makes the heater work. Wow! One, two, or three halogen tubes glow depending on the power mode, emitting heat in about three seconds. With the heater away by few feet, I mostly use 1500W setting in our chilly outside open deck. I wish the remote also had timer buttons. The heater head can be raised or lowered by about 8”!and tilted up or down up to 45°. The heater has tip over and overheat protections. This electric infrared heater is suitable for outdoor use. It is made of high-quality metal with powder-coated finish to withstand outdoor weather and resist rusting. It has IP34 waterproof rating. With ETL certification and UL certified power cord I am confident of its safety. With this infrared heater by your side, you will feel comfortable and cozy even in a chilly weather whatever you intended to do, may it be a dinner, a conversation, a BBQ, etc. ... show more

    • Awful directions
The heater itself seems nice enough...The base is pretty heavy and overall it does get hot quickly. It's not really that cold here yet, so hard to say how will it will heat an area....but from what I can tell - it should be plenty for my porch space. There were a few scratches on the pole going up....but nothing major except for the look and hoping they don't rust being outside. For the most part, minus the scratches, it is a nice looking piece. With the good part said - it's a pain to put together in a way. I do assemble alot of items....so it was probably easier for me than would be for some. The problem is the language they use and the tiny pictures where you can't see the parts. The language is an issue. They called the metal piping cord and then there is a thick wire piece on the top that I'll assume is a type of safety bar. They call it a decorative bar yet it screws on the back and comes in front of the heater head. They don't bother to tell you to put a beauty ring on the bottom....just have to figure out where that goes. The screws are already in their holes so that's helpful. The top is a pain because they don't tell you to unscrew the lock nut to pull the pole out further to attach to the heater head. Then they seem to have included the wrong screws to attach the head to the pole. I will have to buy those separately as they are the things that hold the head on so not too safe just leaving it loose. There are a few bugs they really need to work out, but I am looking forward to using it when it does finally get cold to enjoy my porch more. ... show more

    • So Disappointed
At time of order, the other reviews showed that assembly was easy. However, I found it to be the complete opposite. I worked on putting this together for over an hour and gave up. I tried again for 20 minutes the next night and stopped again. I did not find the instructions to be clear at all. I wish others who said their instructions were clear would have included a photo of their instructions. I found the instructions to be very vague. I cannot get the "head" of the heater to attach. There are 4 holes, presumably for screws, but only 2 holes on the pole it attaches to. I cannot seem to get everything lined up perfectly enough to insert the screws. I am afraid I will need to count this as a loss. ... show more

This is a Danluke store brand infrared patio electric heater. I like that it has three adjustable heating modes and tip over protection. It was fairly easy to put together once I realized some of the screws were already in place and I had to remove them to install a piece and then reapply the screws. Also, there were some dark foam pieces inserted into the screen of the heater. They were hard to see and the instructions didn't mention to remove them. I realized they were there after turning on the heater and started to smell something burning. I turned off the heater and removed them. The heater itself is great. It immediately gives out heat once it is turned on. I plan to use it on our patio this winter. ... show more
