  • There's much to like about this drawing tablet, but it's worth mentioning...
This installed very easily, nearly plug-n-play. I say nearly, as Windows immediately recognized it for what it is and after plugging in with my own USB-C cable, within seconds I had a new cursor. This was my first drawing tablet and there's definitely a learning curve when switching from a mouse, touchscreen, or touchpad. Once I got the basics figured out I then went to the downloads section of the website they provide. The single sheet of instructions is actually well written, something that's typically lacking in imported electronics. Be sure to select the X7 for the download, as there's another Intangbo model. It seems very utilitarian and not scammy, so I downloaded and installed the driver/program, without which the pressure sensitivity can't be used. It's a very nice interface app for being able to customize the configurations of all of the buttons and switches. It's simple, yet very clean and effective. NOTE* While the tablet works, the 'pressure sensitivity' does not seem to work in Paint and while using my old version (very old, C4, yeah... I know...), it worked, but only half the time. There was no rhyme or reason as to when the pressure sensitivity would get recognized, or not. After about an hour of frustration, I packed it up. Right after getting it all back into the box, I had an idea and re-unpacked it, not quite ready to give up on it. I really did not want to hammer this seemingly high quality device. I opened the Windows 10 app called SketchBook, and whaddyaknow, no problems. So, it's safe to say that the problem may very well be with older software compatibility. I played around with it for awhile and found the pencil and fountain pen to have different reactions to the sensitivity, which I found pretty cool. I'm attaching a picture of the PS experience. I was having too much fun with SketchBook, I forgot to snap a pic. It worked 100%, as I'm guessing would a more modern version of PS. After I was satisfied with the functionality, I connected it to my Galaxy S22 Ultra and was pleased to find it worked as an external drawing pad, simply plug-n-play. I have a mini PC that I use specifically for graphics and it's the perfect accessory to pair with that. Since it's extremely light and portable, I can see that I'll be bouncing it between different devices. The kit is very attractive and I wouldn't hesitate to give something so nicely presented as a gift. I think the price is just a wee bit high (currently around sixty bucks) compared to others, but I can't ding it for that, as there's no way for me to know if the others are close in quality. ... show more

  • Cute and functional drawing tablet for non-professionals
Color: Green
My wife is a frustrated artist and has been after me to get her one of the brand name high end drawing tablets. I would gladly get her one but I wanted to make sure she'd get some use out of it first. I thought it prudent to order this for her and see if she liked using it. First of all, it's a really cute looking device--like if Apple made drawing tablets during the early iMac era. My wife is all about funky colors like this and was very pleased with it. It supports a number of operating systems including Windows, Mac OS, Android and Chrome OS. I tested it on all of these and it worked fine. I also tested it on Ubuntu and Linux Mint and that also worked although I had to add entries to the udev rules--not unusual for a USB connected device. Once I did it worked just fine on the two Linux distros I tried it on. I tried it mostly with the Linux drawing/painting apps as well as Photoshop and Illustrator. Worked great on all of 'em. The pen is surprisingly sensitive and functional for a device at this price point. I wish it came with a case but I found an old tablet case she can use. It's really slim and light and easy to transport. Surprisingly robust performance for a lower end tablet. It probably wouldn't be enough for a professional graphic artist but for general use it's excellent and a great value. Highly recommended! ... show more

  • Nice tablet, plug and play, pretty accurate and smooth
Color: Pink
My daughter has been wanted to get more into digital art, so I decided to try out a more modest tablet to really gauge her interested before we try to get something more professional. This is definitely a great entry level tablet. She used it with her PC, but apparently it will work with an iPad or phone as well (though since those have touchscreens, I'm not sure why you'd want to...). We just plugged it in, and it started working - it basically acts like a mouse when you plug it in. We downloaded the software to tweak a few features - that made it a bit better. It is very accurate and smooth - it didn't jump around as she drew. The pen is comfortable and has two buttons - it's nice to have different options that handy. If you're looking to test the waters of graphics tablets, this is a great starter option. ... show more

  • A good beginner tablet
Color: Green
I’m using this medium-sized tablet on my Macbook Air and the installation was fairly fast and straightforward and the tablet worked right away. I’m currently trying it with Mediabang Pro and it works somewhat with that software, except I can’t get it to use the brush on the software so I’m going to also try Procreate and some other manga drawing software since that’s what I’ll be using for. The pen feels nice to hold and also the buttons on the pen. The tablet is pressure sensitive and works well. I also love the the tablet having buttons on the left hand side to move the digital paper up and down and the other features they do. I think this a good beginner tablet for sure. ... show more

  • Easy Install
Color: Green
My 9 year old son had this thing up and going with his devices before I got to really look at it. He's experienced with the ipencil and really actual drawing so the transition was effortless for him. I tried it as well using basic functions in several graphical applications that I use. I have also bought a Huion drawing tablet, but I'm not an expert with them by any means. That said, this tablet has a nice feel to it and looks less "professional" and more relaxed. It isn't a toy, but it does seem appropriate for my kids to use. Overall it seems well made, well integrated, and attractively packaged. I could recommend as an introductory drawing tablet. ... show more
