I looked for a very long time for a weekend or bag as I’m expecting a new grandchild and wanted to be able to fit a number of items inside in case I had to leave in a hurry. The navy blue color is what I chose and it’s gorgeous and rich looking, the shoulder strap does not hurt my shoulder when I use it over the shoulder and carrying it in my hand, it does not feel as though it cuts my skin. It’s really a nice size Inside the bag, it is much roomier than I anticipated and the quality is fantastic for the price I paid. I love this! I was looking for a makeup storage solution that was large enough to fit all my makeup but not too large that I had to make a special storage space for it in my bathroom. This is perfect! Why, you ask: 1) super feminine pattern. Reminds me of something my mom may have had back in the 70s. 2) Nylon inside and out, which is easier to clean than VB’s usual fabric. Since this is a makeup case, and makeup gets messy sometimes, it’s a huge plus 3) lots of room but if not filled to capacity, can collapse down enough to fit into a drawer (or suitcase when traveling) 4) plenty of compartments and storage areas in addition to the larger main compartment. 5) great name brand! Beautiful on the outside but no pictures of the inside and it was a bit of a disappointment, not the prettiest pattern and the color was a weird mustard brown. Overall very pleased with the craftsmanship of the bag, plus it’s HUGE!
