I purchased this primarily for the task of shredding old CDs. I was in Information Technology and had a box of CDs that had accumulated over the past 20 years and they needed disposed of. I did not count them but I'd bet there was probably well over 200. I would do them in batches of 10 to 15 then let the shredder sit for at least 30 minutes to an hour and then do more. I did this over several days. I literally filled the shredder 2/3 full two times. Attached picture shows shredded CDs. I just did a few more CDs tonight and it worked like a champ. Compared to other shredders I have experienced, this one is quieter. It is massively quieter than the shredder we used to run CDs through at work. That one was annoyingly loud with CDs and would spit pieces out at you. This one doesn't seem to make any more noise with CDs than it does with paper. Occasionally a small piece will fly out but nothing significant. It completely obliterates the CD. I like the handle for lifting the shredder off of the basket, it makes it much easier. One thing I will note, after shredding CDs, you will need to vacuum the bottom of the shredder when you take it off to empty the basket. It will be covered with the film from inside the CDs, static cling. Hope this helps someone.

Working for months now as my security obsessed wife shreds her way through a lifetime of documents. This is our third unit but the first one to clearly state it is meant to be run for ten minutes, not hours at a time. It is strong and quiet. I like it , holds more than my other one. Tried to put a bag in it. It didn’t like that I partially covered the window. Wouldn’t start. I guess it is the only way to know when full. Just started using it. So far works good.

Perfect for home or small business use. Operates very quiet when compared to our previous shredder. Also like the higher level of security as opposed to the strip shredder.

This VidaTeco paper shredder shreds 14 sheets of paper with ease but that's not what we use it for. We created earthworm beds and learned that they thrive on soil with plain brown cardboard mixed into the dirt. It was tedious cuttinng cardboard with scissors so we gave this a try. On cardboard about the thickness of USPS priority mail boxes it works well and doesn't bind up the shredder. Recommended.

This unit was used to shred junk mail and receipts so it was not used excessively. Purchased October 9th and then would not turn on as of January 30th. Very disappointing that it would cost this much and then would no longer work. I read the reviews and the majority were favorable. Not sure how many more quit working but reviews were never updated. It worked beautifully until it didn't work at all.

This shredder was exactly what I wanted and is the perfect size. It has a lot of power and is very quiet compared to others I have had. I was rather surprised at that. I wanted this kind because I could lift the machine up off of the waste basket underneath, making it so much easier to dump the shreds without making a mess. I highly recommend this to anyone.
