Appeared to be perfect for my kids room project. I have two kids and one of them is 1.5 y.o, so rubber base is my "two birds with one stone" - non-slip and peeproof. It's quite light for 8x10ft and easy to trim (because of the rubber base). As of price - it is pretty much the same I would pay for a piece of solid color carpet of that size. This carpet is great and colorful. We set up a for al classroom for our 4 year old twin boys during homeschool. They love this carpet. They will puck a planet for circle time. The only problem is that it bunches up so we bought a pad to put underneath and keep it in place.
