I bought this for my retail store. I love it. Like all shedders if you shred too much it will overheat and then will not work till it cools down. I have not had any paper jams. The shredder is small and fits in a small space. It shreds very well.

The shredder is sturdy and shreds paper into really small pieces. Noise level as expected not all that quiet but reasonable. It is fast. Handles multiple pages really well. One thing which I DO Not like is the second feed for cards and CD’s. This shreds into very large chunks. Definitely not enough for credit cars, as it leaves all sensitive information in tact. You will need to shred cards where paper goes. I just hope the mechanism will endure such hard plastic.

The media could not be loaded. I am primarily using this 14 sheet shredder for shredding cardboard. Medium weight is perfect. I just cut sheets to size. heavier cardboard needs to be flattened a bit before inserting. The machine will overheat with continuous inserting after five minutes, but I pause and use the downtime to cut more sheets to width. The 6 gallon size is perfect and I did not want wheels. I like the handle on the heavy upper part but I wish it had a hand hold on the basket itself for when it’s being emptied I’ve already filled about 15 22-gallon garbage bags and it’s holding up just fine. Some people recommend adding oil but I’m not sure where to put that.

I think the rating of 14 sheets of paper at a time might be a bit of a stretch, but it does well for 5. It is much more quiet than my previous shredder. This is good for a home office. It does have a handle for removing the shredder top from the basket, but it does not have any handles for moving the entire shredder. It is a bit top heavy, but stable in normal application. I think that it is a good value for the money. It has not jammed in my usage. Be nice to it and listen to the motor. When it struggles, lighten the load. One bit of advice: do not shred paper with any kind of adhesive backing or fugitive glue. This can gum up the shredder and make it harder for it to shred. Oil the mechanism occasionally.

I have emptied the bin twice. Got back out after Christmas. Will not even come on. Please don’t waste your money like me. When it did work it was very loud.
