  • Very nice inexpensive device to play with, day or night, and save photo/video memories
Just a few years ago the words "a night vision device" immediately brought up a mental image of something costing a huge amount of money. Not any longer. Nowadays there are dozens of the so called night vision binoculars or googles costing a little over a hundred bucks or less. To begin with, let us clarify the terminology. None of these inexpensive devices is a binocular or the goggles, and all of them are the night vision devices in a very special narrow definition of night vision. The front of these devices does look like a binocular but only one of the tubes contains an electronic and optical lens system capable of "seeing" in the infrared range of light. The other tube is simply a source of the infrared illumination invisible to a naked human eye. There are no "oculars" in the conventional meaning of this word. The image is displayed on a liquid crystal display (LCD) which you see with your eyes at some distance from your face. For this reason the binoculars and goggles are misnomers. Technically all these devices are the IR (infrared) viewers. Having finished with this slightly technical part, we can talk about these devices in more detail. Fist off, they have extra useful functionality that used to be unavailable in the real night vision (called thermal vision) scopes such as a camera capable of taking photos and recording videos on a removable storage device (micro/SD card). You can see your photos and playback your videos right there on the built-in display. Some of these IR viewers have both optical and digital zoom capability. The item under review here has the largest I've seen 4" HD display and boasts a 4K video and 48MP image resolution, 10X digital zoom with anti shaking, and is equipped with a 32GB SD card. The day light clarity of the image is very good on display. It is equipped with a 9-level IR illuminator. The low light mode retains colors but the night images are black and white. These devices are fun to play with while outdoors or camping or watching the nightlife of animals in your back yard. It is a great gift to your kids. They would be thrilled. ... show more

  • Large screen
These are great binoculars. They have a screen instead of lenses which makes it easier to see. They work out to a pretty far distance. The night vision works well too. It's easy to capture and store pictures and short videos. They feel durable and have held up to being dropped a few times.

  • Fun for critter watching
I got this because there has been some possums in my yard and they are super hard to see at night. I wanted to be able to capture them on video to see where they are coming and going. I was really excited to try this out and I was not disappointed! The quilty of the image is decent for the price point of this device. The images they use for the promo are very misleading though. Overall this is a good product! ... show more

  • Expensive kids toy
Doesn't work well in complete darkness and this is more a backyard toy. Could not make out any detail in complete blackness . You need to turn on the light and give away your position to do this. Would rather have a red light than bright white. When scouting there needs to be a bit of back ground light like street post. Its hard to see around group of lights. But once adjusted , then you have trouble seeing the darkness. Zoom was ok but default distance is already far. This makes it very difficult to see up to 40 yards around you. Was not that impressed and glad it came late because this was going to be a gift. My friend would rather take the cash than theses BUSHBINOC . ... show more

  • Budget friendly night vision that works.
For the price point these night vision goggles/binoculars work pretty well. You can adjust the IR level for different viewing distances and have a good image during the day as well as at night. I have to say I didn't expect them to perform as well as they did at the price point but they actually look better than more expensive ones that I have used. They are easy to use once you tinker with them a little bit and have a really nice image if you save it to the included SD card. They come with the SD card, data cable, neck strap, cleaning cloth, and manual. I honestly didn't even look in the manual and just started figuring out the buttons on my own. It is set up pretty similarly to other goggles that I have and easy to learn to operate. They are great for seeing what is hiding out in the darkness on those dark nights and will make a nice gift for just about any age. ... show more

  • Very cool night vision (IR) goggles with great screen
These Bushbinoc Night Vision 4k Goggles are awesome! The goggles are more like binoculars that have a nice large 4k screen! These work great day or night and take some very nice videos and photos. The instructions were very simple to understand and after reading instructions it does take a bit of getting used to on where to put your fingers to push buttons while operating. Once you have the layout of the buttons though, it's very easy to use and has an intuitive system. Using these at night is really fun, it has two options, you can use IR to illuminate in total darkness or keep it in starlight mode to use when there is some ambient light, both work incredibly well. I live in a city so there is typically enough ambient light to look around without the use of the IR. When the IR is turned on you can adjust the brightness of the IR which is a nice option. These are my new favorite toy to use at night, it's fun to look up into the sky and check out all the stars and it's cool to just look around and see what you can see out in the woods. This is definitely worth the price. I've had a pair that look similar to these before, but it was terrible, these are really well made and have a lot of nice features! ... show more
