I bought these for my daughter, who uses them as her art pens. They some of the best gel pens available today! The pigment is very bright and opaque, it's got strong coverage and doesn't rip through paper. Though it may take a little time to color over, she hasn't had a lot of issues on mixed media paper with bleeding. As she's left handed, there's not any real smearing as an issue when she's using the pens. They've got smooth ink, great coverage, a beautiful array of colors and are comfortable and easy to use.
