ASP Handcuff KeyASP Handcuff Keys are designed to withstand the rigors of long term duty use. Conventional keys are stamped from mild steel. They often break or twist off in a handcuff. These “key jammed” restraints create civil liability and must be destroyed to cut them from the subject’s wrist.ASP Logo Keys are precision molded from high strength stainless steel. Each key is heat treated for strength and finished in one of five attractive coatings. A hard coat lacquer is baked on for added protection. The unique ASP BackSet feature allows rapid location of the handcuff keyway.Logo Keys feature distinctive insignias, full color State Seals or custom agency logos.

I bought these keys thinking they were the 2 paw high security keys like the picture shown. All 12keys came in a ASP blister and were standard handcuff keys and not the 2 paw keys shown in the picture listed they are standard keys, they are quality and good keys but not what I was after. With this said I gave it 2 stars but if you are looking for standard keys they are worth they money. ... show more

well this is a very good price and the keys work great but i have to say that the steel used here is a little cheap, you can see "bunching" at the welds where they were not really cleaned and inspected after production and the ends of the knockout pins are a little uneven. that said, i have tried every one of them and they all open a handcuff just fine so i am not worried about their preformance, and at this price for this quantity, honestly you could afford to have a bad key in the batch so long as it wasnt the only one you had. ... show more

    • Not as described. Picture shows a double pawl key, but they shipped single pawl keys.

Picture and description indicated that these would work for Asp double pawl cuffs. The product I received did not look like the picture. I received single pawl or standard cuff keys, which are useless in my double pawl cuffs. Should have returned them, but didn't do it in time. That's on me. Still, product was not as indicated. They release my Hiatts cuffs just fine. Actually, these keys are a bit smaller than the ones that came with my cuffs, but this actually makes insertion and rotation easier. This and the pentagon styling make it especially good if you are unlocking blind or with reduced visibility. The pentagon styling also allows the key to maintain a low profile on your ring.
