This Waterfall box has a wide Spillway for Greater Water Aeration, it is easily buried in the ground in order to be hidden from sight. Made of high impact polypropylene, this waterfall box includes stepped barb fittings to accommodate 3/4", 1", 11/4" and 11/2" Tubing. Designed to accommodate addition of mechanical or biological filter media for super clean water.

The media could not be loaded. Came fast , I had researched to make sure the connections in back would work on existing hoses didn’t want to have to change all that out and they slid on just fine you do have a few sizes of hoses this thing hooks up too ,also added some filter material and such for extra filtration on inside of it . Son helped me redo the rock and yes might not be the best for some but ok for me for now lol it’s hot and humid and heck outside , so far now it’s good lol . Pond is a green mess at the moment , working on getting it cleaned up and waiting on new filter and current one the typical knob to backwash broke 😡 When I got it and took out of box I thought wow this thing is so little, but honestly for me it’s perfect! ❤️ ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a cheap way to add a waterfall to a water feature I made and this sure did deliver. A lot of people put it where it’s level with the water source but I used it alittle different and worked great. I had to buy the hose to attach to it and the pump but worked great. ... show more

The hole for the adapter is in the back. I really wanted it to be in the side but I can deal with it. The adapter allows you to choose from many sizes but it is very long. The small portion is what I need and it is on the furthest end. So it really sticks out a lot. I may need to play with it to get it right. Or buy another adapter to make the connection. The larger the hose you have the better this will work out. I have a 850 GPH Pump and the flow is ok but really could have used more. Wouldn't want any less for sure. The whole thing seems to be made of a very durable material. I am pleased with the quality of it. I am happy to be able to add some media to it and use it as an additional filter. This fountain worked perfectly for me and as I had envisioned the install. FYI if u don't want to use the hose adaptor that comes with u can replace with and 1 1/2 pvc male adaptor and hard pipe the connections which is what I did. I needed valves installed to control flow so this made it much tighter and saved space by doing this. I cut filters to lay in the top and bio balls beneath that to create a nice filtration that's easy to clean. Pull 1 rock and hose the filters back up and running in under 5 min. I bought a Danner Filter and Falls for my 165 gallon pond. It looks better than other filter boxes, as it sits low with just the waterfall spout above the pond. No problems with the fittings. Looks good as a way to filter the water and introduce it to the bigger pond in an attractive way. I bought the plain box, and cut a piece of filter material to fit (in an upside-down V, as shown in their product info for versions that come with filter media. for me. My pump is a 500 gph, and the flow is appropriate - enough to make a nice stream without blasting everything. My previous solution was a Fishmate UV filter box with low exits, so the whole box had to sit higher than the pond, and it looked terrible in the landscaping. Not sure I need UV filtration, so I'll see. If I do, I'll put in a separate unit. Very happy. Good solution ... show more
