This bed is absolutely beautiful and turned out to be exactly what I wanted. It arrives in a large, heavy box (around 140 lbs), so be prepared for that. I ended up opening the box downstairs and carrying the pieces up one at a time. Everything was packed securely, and even though the box had a small dent, all the parts inside were in perfect condition. I assembled it by myself in about two hours. It took a bit of effort to line everything up without an extra set of hands, but it was definitely doable. Once put together, the bed feels solid and stable, and my 14-inch mattress fits it perfectly. It has the look and quality of something much more expensive. I wasn’t sure about this bed frame at first. We’ve had a Queen size bed for the longest time and we used the Knickerbocker bed frame from the NFM. We decided to upgrade to a king size bed with the platform frame & headboard , I have to admit, we were pleasantly surprised. As tall as the headboard is I thought it would bang against the wall, well this bed frame is very sturdy. Not much movement at all, I’m glad we decided to but it. I purchased this in a queen. The bed is beautiful and sturdy. The directions had a few spots that were hard to understand as the pics looked like a child drew them. I do recommend this bed.

I ordered this bed early trusting it look just like the picture. Moving from Baltimore to Florida the bed was ordered in June I am just getting to Florida. We went to set this bed up every thing went wrong screws don’t line up, bed is smaller than the actual picture headboard so short nothing at all as advertised and it’s pass the time to return I’ve lost five hundred dollars on a bed that I don’t want but had to pay for . Don’t buy it’s nothing like the picture , screws don’t line up some screwed are stripped it’s a whole mess. I am gonna contact the seller but I know it’s too late to get my money back ... show more
