WoW!! 6 months after install on our Ram 1500. Towing 5000# horse trailer often. Going down hills, on turns, high speed, low speed, these brakes are SO SMOOTH! I've never had a car with such smooth, powerful stops before. The stock brakes faded, grabbed, and chattered. I still can't believe the Amazing Difference! If they make this kit for your vehicle, it's a steal! So much cheaper than going to a shop, and the rotors and pads are high quality! This kit included everything needed for all 4 brakes including new slide bolt boots. We bought extra caliper grease as some reviews said the grease packets were small, but having finished it, my husband said the grease was perfect. He said most people probably use too much grease on their brake parts. He said the hardest part of this install was getting the old brake rotors off of our 2016 Ram 1500 4x4. He had to use a torch to heat them and beat them off. Cleaning the parts and installing the new parts took about 30 minutes per wheel. There is a special brake wear in technique to evenly coat the rotors and prepare the brakes for maximum stopping power. It's easy to follow. WoW!! These new ceramic brake pads and drilled rotors stop much better than the stock brakes with oem pads. Hauling our 5000lb horse trailer went very well with new, better stopping power! Best brakes on the market hands down. Just bought my second set after the first is just about out of pad material. I have run these on my 2017 ram 1500 5.7L 4x4 for the last 50,000 miles and they are still working like a charm. I tow on the regular, sometimes as much as 13,500 lb (trucks only rated for 10,500 but it handles it well). The nickel plating is a must for the rust belt as these rotors outlast any non-coated set in NEPA. If you want a set to install and forget about for the next 50k miles, get these, cannot recommend them enough, amazing performance and longevity, super quiet and always a perfect fit. ... show more

    • Best upgrade ever!
I have been driving with these on my 2012 RAM since 2016, and I have gone through 2 sets of pads in the front. Hands down, this is the best investment somebody could make for a RAM pickup. The OEM brakes were sloshy and fairly noisy. This upgrade stops the truck on a dime, and is super quiet. The breaks get stickier as they warm up. So the first stop sign in the early morning is a bit slick, but by the 2nd or 3rd stop sign, the brakes are nice and sticky. This helps tremendously with towing. The slotted rotors look amazing, but more importantly, they serve the purpose of keeping the rotors cool. Highly recommended upgrade. I will never go back to OEM! Added note, make sure you go through the proper steps to break in the pads. The instructions come in the box. Functionality: AMAZING Value for the money: BEST VALUE EVER!!     • Tons of added stopping power to my RAM
Got the kit for the front and back brakes and installed them a couple weeks after. The kit comes with almost everything you need, but I needed more lubricant for the pin boots than what they supplied. Other than that, it had everything I needed to get these installed. Did the rotor & pad install in about 3 hours for all 4 wheels. Looks great, assembled easily, and after I broke the brakes in I noticed a ton of extra braking power that I didn’t have before and no noise. I would definitely buy these again and recommend them to anyone driving a truck or large SUV. ... show more

    • Good upgrade from stock
Tl;dr: I'm happy with these brakes on my 2014 Ram 1500. They were a solid purchase. First the bad: The listing says sold by and shipped from Amazon. The kit did come in a Powerstop box, so maybe this part wasn't Amazon's fault, but they did make it right. I did get 4 rotors, but it was 3 fronts and 1 rear, which is not cash money. Amazon does sell just the set of rear rotors by themselves, and they refunded me enough of the first kit to cover the cost of just the rears. The first kit did include all the needed pads with the shims, as well as new dust boots for the slides, which was nice. I also now have an extra front and an extra rear rotor, because Amazon did not require me to return the extras, but they are wheel specific, so, whatever. I bought these based on suggestions from a ram forum. I'm pretty happy with them. Installation was the same as any other disc brakes. They're certainly better than the stock brakes, but maybe not ridiculously better. They're not stop-on-a-dime sports car brakes, nor are they supposed to be. They're just supposed to not fade and overheat when stopping whhile hauling heavy loads or when going down mountain roads. If you're looking for super touchy brakes, powerstop does offer different pads (idk if same rotors) marketed for that, but I can't speak to them. I did have to do the break-in procedure twice. After doing it the first time and driving with them for 2 days, I felt they should be better. So the 2nd time, I was more aggressive on the first five 40 to 10mph stops, to the point where the ABS kicked in a few times, then did the five 35 to 5mph stops, and then drove for 30 minutes on the highway without using the brakes at all. There was a significant improvement in performance after that. The initial bite of the brakes is better than stock, which in and of itself is almost worth the price. After that, for me anyway, it just takes less pressure on the pedal to slow and stop the truck, which is mostly what I wanted anyway. I did also flush the brake fluid at the same time since this was a new-to-me truck, but the old fluid wasn't actually all that dirty, and so I don't believe that really made too much of a difference here. I mostly just did it so I'll know for sure when it needs to be done again. ... show more

These are my go to brake replacement/upgrade for all my vehicles. They work great, are easy to assemble, and have good longevity. The only down side is I thought they should have come with a it more anti seize/lube for the areas that need it. I found I had to put such a thin amount on that I think they will end up making some noise in the future. I could be wrong though as they have only been on for a short time. In the past, if there wasnt enough I would just go get some from my local auto parts store. Just didnt this time. ... show more

    • They Fit Perfect & Work Great !
Great Product. Fitment was perfect, no issues at all. Quality is top notch. I ended up installing them myself. Initially was going to get the dealership to do it but way too much $ for stock brakes and I got another shop to quote it and still way too much $. I am not cheap but prices for install were not fair. I have jack stands and I have a 3.5 on floor jack and the tools so I dedicated a saturday to just get it done plus cleaned up stuff around there and calipers while I was at it. Had a caliper press tool that pushes the piston back in which is a great tool to have, just make sure the brake reservoir cap is open and put a rag around it so brake fluid spills out onto the rag as you press in all the caliper pistons. But yes very happy with them and now about 2 weeks later they feel even better as they have bedded in a bit. And I saved a lot of $ on labor plus made sure I left everything clean. ... show more
