Power Stop Z36 Extreme Truck and Tow brake kit with calipers are for those that tow/haul, as well as the off-road enthusiast. The low-dust ceramic formula brake pads are reinforced with carbon fibers to strengthen the compound. They are dust free, noise-free, and give you increased braking power without sacrificing everyday drivability. The rotors are cast using the finest G3000 metallurgy with strict OE tolerances - making them a perfect, bolt-on upgrade without the need to make any modifications. Precision drill holes allow for maximum rotor cooling. This keeps your brakes temperatures down during extreme operating conditions. Rounded slots help wipe away any gas or debris - keeping a clear contact patch on the rotor surface for safe, smooth braking. Silver Zinc Dichromate plating is applied to all drilled & slotted rotors, they not only look great behind your wheels, but to help prevent rust & corrosion. Any time you add weight to a vehicle by hauling a load, towing a trailer, or simply adding a larger wheel/tire combination, you change the operating conditions of your stock brake package. Those operating conditions may exceed the ability of the stock braking components. I installed the Powerstop brake rotor and pad combo on my '14 Ram 1500 4x4 and am very impressed. I've waited months and driven the truck about 4,000 miles after purchasing and installing this kit so that I could give it an accurate assessment of its performance. Granted, I replaced worn stock rotors and pads with these new ones, but I remain very satisfied. The brakes are very smooth and progressive without being grabby. I've even needed to make several real-world emergency applications of the brakes and they are very confidence-inspiring. They are still extremely smooth even after thousands of miles of use. I highly recommend these over stock oem replacements. Just a little FYI for people who purchase this kit, try to be available when the delivery arrives: this kit was boxed in a single box weighing around 100 lbs. If dropped, I would imagine at least 1 rotor would be damaged. These are good brakes, and I'm very happy with them. ... show more

Solid brake and rotar upgrade, i can definitley feel the difrence. They are smooth, and quiet. Only put 4 hundred miles on the truck since the install, but i did tow a enclosed 14ft trailer loaded with about 4000 pounds about 2 days after installation and I am impressed by the quality of these brakes. The box was a little tore up, but thats to be expected from a 100 lb box. Thankfully no scuffs or marks on any of the rotors. ... show more

Rotors look great, fast, easy install. Seem to stop well, but already quite a bit of brake dust. We tow a small RV, so I wanted to upgrade brakes.

I use my 2017 Ram 1500 Limited mostly to pull trailers. I was not confident stopping with the stock brakes pulling my 22ft boat. These new brakes are much more sensitive and grab much better. These won't rust like the stock brakes. I installed these myself with medium difficulty. The hardest part was beating the old rotors hard enough to break them free. Definitely helps to have a breaker bar to loosen the bolts too. ... show more
