the water volume was reduced from my regular hoses. turning up the faucet just increase the pressure, so that it wasn't soft. As important, I had to keep constant tension on pulling the hose to me, because it would retract otherwise. My arm got tired of this quickly. I'm sticking with a regular hose from now on.

My kids love to help me garden, so I wanted to get them a shorter hose that's lightweight, easy to use, and relatively kink free. The material used stretches when pulled on and is very flexible. This hose is certainly good value for money.

My last expandable hose burst near the connector to the spigot. Pros: very light weight, several spare washers, multi-function nozzle. Cons: can't leave out in cold weather, doesn't seem to expand to 25' (didn't measure), water pressure is a little wimpy. Comments: to be fair, I only us ed it once so far. Can only compare it to my previous hose. Water pressure less strong but was only watering potted plants so no big deal. Was hesitant to tug on the hose to extend the length while I was watering; seemed that it was expanding when the nozzle was closed. This review may be premature but it's my initial impression so am giving a 4 star to give it the benefit of doubt. I will update if further usage changes my opinion. I'm north of San Francisco where we occasionally get cold weather ( in the low to mid 30s) in the winter so the need to bring the hose indoors is inconvenient. UPDATE: Tried again to use & paid more attention. First : the hose easily expanded to full 25' but when I squeezed the nozzle to actually water my plants, the hose contracted so I had to pull on the hose to keep my current position. Water pressure thru the nozzle was weak. SO I plan on buying a different hose. This would be fine if I only needed to use it for acvery short distance, like 10'

This hose is lightweight, and the length is just right for watering the plants on my balcony. Using hooks makes it very easy to organize. The hose connectors are all made of metal, which makes them very sturdy. I enjoy using it!
