  • Best picture and audio. FireTV operating system needs getting used to
Style: 77 Inches
My disability leads me to watch a lot of TV. Now, this makes it much better and more pleasant. With this Panasonic 77Z95B, I changed from a 65" LG 2020 C series which was my first OLED tv and I loved that device. This Panasonic 77" Z95B is a definite move up not just in the size of screen but also the visual. Panasonic provides multiple 'out of the box' picture settings. The main reason many will want this is the most obvious with the built in Technic's audio system. If anyone already has a soundbar or some other audio system they may not the overly interested in this item. The audio is way beyond anything in any other flagship UHDTV brands so if you have no audio system and don't want to buy one, this TV is the obvious choice. One reason that I went with this UHDTV is not just the 4 stack RGB panels, the same as on the LG G5 model, but also with the professional grade Panasonic Processing. In addition to those panels that need to cooled, it is cooled by the very important system called 'ThermaFlow'. That is the Panasonic term for the cooling system for the panels that will keep it bright and last much longer. Many people will get frustrated or really dislike the Amazon 'Fire TV' operating system.Let me tell you, no company has the perfect OS. Changing brands just leads to a new learning curve on what works best in the OS that the TV has. The 'FireTV' system just takes time to get used to and learn what works best for each owners needs and desires. This TV was just mounted on 8/6/2025 and I am extremely pleased with what I see and hear.. The 'out of the box' picture presets are great, easy to use, and quite possibly, I may not need to get it professionally calibrated. If I do decide to have it calibrated, it already has presets for the CALMAN calibrator access to the needed settings. I am very happy with this expensive, but worthwhile purchase. ... show more

  • Panasonic Impressed Me With This TV
Style: 77 Inches
This is my first Panasonic tv ever and wasn't sure about ordering without seeing it in person, and I have to say I'm impressed. I've currently have the LG G5 & C9, Samsung S90D and had the Sony A80L so this isn't my first oled tv. What I can say is this tv out of the box is the first tv that I didn't feel like I needed to do any color adjustments, it's spot on. I only did some adjustments to the brightness and motion settings and I'm done. The sound is better than any other flat panel tv I've tried recently, of course it won't beat a good sound bar or audio system, but good enough to enjoy a movie or tv show. ... show more

  • High quality premium OLED gaming TV
Style: 55 Inches
I really like this TV, in fact it is quite easily the best TV I have ever owned. It is not however perfect and for the listed price at the time of purchase I would expect it to be pretty much perfect. There are a lot of really great things to love and a few things that I do not like. I will break down and segment this review into sections to emphasize both the good and the bad. Picture quality: Exceptional Contrast: is amazing and the colors are very true to life with rich deep blacks, blinding whites, and everything in-between being right on key. Refresh rate: great 144hz is above average for consumer TV's while 260hz and beyond exist no device is currently capable of delivering 4K content in AAA games stably at higher than 144 FPS including the highest end graphics cards, X-Box is capped at 120hz. Enhancements: Dolby vision and HRD-10 further enhance an already phenomenal image quality. Brightness: The sun has competition and my retinas may never recover from testing. In all seriousness its very bright even in well lit rooms with many windows the picture is clear and visible. Sound quality: Great - Exceptional Bass: is solid in general and even without an external sub is crisp and deep. Mids an highs: great acoustic range and a "half billion" speakers through out the front and back of the TV deliver an exceptional acoustic experience. What I want to drive home is not only is this sound great for a TV its just great no sound bar required. Smart functions: good The user interface is responsive and has a good collection of streaming apps. I was unable to directly stream X-box cloud games at the time of this review and that is disappointing considering the built-in controller connectivity. Setup was easy just scanned a QR code with my phone and waited 5 minutes for the TV to map the audio profile of my room. While I was impressed with the easy of use of the TV I can see where it might show its age in a few years as the performance of the smart functions seems average and not stunning. Its certainly not as fast as my phone and as all smart TV's do, it will age like milk. Other: Alexa: I cannot find a way to disable the underwhelming smart remotes Alexa microphone other than removing the batteries. I'm a privacy savvy IT professional and I do not like smart devices not only do they present security risks, and they bring the government into your home at a time when I would rather not have old Sam's ears in my home. Don't misunderstand Alexa is a great personal assistant I would just like the option to turn her off when I'm not needing her assistance. Weight: she's a heavy beast of a TV, team lift for sure. Bezel: great low bezel size and no distractions from the gorgeous picture quality. IO: 4 HDMI, optical display, 3 USB and RJ45 (Ethernet). Would have loved to see a display port but understand its absence in the consumer TV space. Conclusion: This is a phenomenal TV. I do recommend it even at 2 1/2 fat stacks however this premium pricing makes me wonder if its 2.5X better than a "good" mid range OLED. The only shortcomings are in its smart features and your inability to disable them if you want to. For me its a "gaming monitor with benefits" however I'm not your average ULTRA TV coinsure I'm a PC gamer and technician and this far exceeds my use case expectations. I'm fully aware this is not specifically a gaming monitor and I did enjoy its smart features and easy of use, though they will be seldomly used in the future. This is going to be my bedroom screen and it's going to be hooked up to a gaming PC that's rather well matched for 4K 144hz. Will I watch Pluto and Netflix on it? Yes, but my X-Box already has those apps and its controller is much preferred to the remote by me. If you have the bones to drop on this it's a very solid TV, and if you can find it on sale you would be doing yourself a disservice not to grab it. **I included some pictures of the TV and the TV picture however they are only as good as the camera used to take them and is not a good indication of the quality due to shutter speed being significantly slower than the refresh rate of the TV you are actually seeing a blur of several frames as the cameras sensor records, leading to tear lines in the final picture that do not occur in person. ... show more

So far everything has been great. Picture quality is excellent. Great for streaming 4k DV movies or shows. Colors are also incredible on this OLED. Very happy with purchase.

  • Incredible TV, but maybe broken?
Style: 65 Inches
Good: Picture is great, so is the sound. Best OLED picture ai’ve seen, and I’m coming from Samsung S95F. Sound is maybe good enough to get rid of my Sonos. Bad: Software/quality control. Dolby Vision from my Apply TV makes the TV flicker non-stop with spots all over the screen. HDR10+ is (mostly) better but still gets in weird bouts of flickering sometimes. Audio mutes/unmutes itself. Volume will alternate from running all the way up to 99 and back down to 0. (Two separate issues - the volume will increase 1 point at a time all the way to max, and do the reverse down to 0, can’t be stopped). The top .5 inches of the screen displayed as a light grey colored bar, seems to have resolved after running the TV’s panel care. Conclusion: I don’t know if mine is damaged, or if I’m just seeing odd bugs. It looks incredible in game mode. I’m gonna have to send it back and get an LG G5, I guess. ... show more
