I had trouble opening the bottom, screw was a little long, but carefully took my time. The light is hollow inside, so you must be very careful. Will break easily. This night light is cute & makes for a fun decoration. The only problem is that it goes through a lot of batteries quickly. That wouldn’t stop me from buying it again; it’s just good to know that info going into it.
