The instructions lacked a little, but it’s a pretty easy install as long as you get the long one on the front. I left the adjustable screws a little loose and tightened after I knew how much slack I needed for it to fit across the top of my car. The first 6 pictures are what is in the box and how well it is packaged. The instructions said the front bar would be labeled but it wasn’t. I just measured to see which one was longer (front). Pop off the covers, install the mounting brackets on the cross rails using the washers (that’s not in the instructions). Then mount the rails to the top of the car. very much like the product, but the instructions appear to be written by a third grader. I eventually ignored the instructions and just proceeded using what i saw and common sense.

Instructions bad. Racks good. I read the supplied instructions, then set them on fire. With a modicum of average skill, you can figure out how then attach these to your vehicle. Just don’t expect the instructions to help you out. You might expand on you sailor style of vocabulary at times, but all will be fine in the end. One rail arrived with multiple scratches. The package came with 4 bolts and 10 (Yes ten!) washers but they were all too small for the bolts. I had to go to the hardware store to purchase 4 washers and 4 pressure washers of the correct size. They rails did fit my 2017 Toyota Highlander Limited and they look fine. ... show more

These did not fit like they belong with the vehicle, a 2017 Toyota Highlander XLE. If I try this install again, I will go with the Toyota part. These did not fit like they were intended to be with this vehicle. There seemed to be overlap on the end caps and the bolts would not line up correctly almost as though they were too short.     • Great option to expensive roof rails
Very happy with this roof rack rail system for a 2015 Toyota Highlander. The installation instructions weren't great but installation was pretty intuitive. The only downside is that it scratches easily so I would suggest getting pads to protect the rails for any attachments.

    • Updated Review - Instructions Package Needs Improvement
First my husband canceled this order because hardware and post did not seem to fit per instructions in package. However, looking for an alternate solution (different vendor) he found better instructions online as how to install product. We will be testing its sturdiness and wind sound next.
