My ex left some of these (another brand I suspect) but I had no clue what they were. I had them in a box to give away, until I saw a fellow mushroom (functional and culinary) grower using them to seal grow bags... This was a game changer! Before I used string or tape, but these methods caused me to pull in the sides of the bags to make sure that they were sealed. Using these I can slide them along very near the top, and seal the bag leaving plenty of room for mixing inside the bag while sealed. Takes a second or two to seal, which reduces the chance of contamination!

Mushroom cultivators who use bags should really try these out. They work far better than impulse sealers, you can get a good shake on your bags without busting the seals. I love them.

First off, the value for money here is impressive. You get a generous number of clips for a very reasonable price, making it a cost-effective solution for anyone looking to keep their snacks fresh. In terms of functionality, when they work, they work well. They do an excellent job of sealing bags and keeping contents fresh, which is, after all, the primary reason for purchasing them. However, it's worth noting that these clips aren't universal in their application. I found that they work wonderfully on certain materials and types of bags, but not so much on others. This limitation is a bit disappointing, as it restricts their usefulness to a certain extent. You might find yourself reaching for a different solution for bags made of thicker or unconventional materials. Now, onto the user experience. Initially, I must admit, these clips had me baffled. Without any instructions included, my first attempt at using them felt a bit like solving a puzzle — and not necessarily in a fun way. A simple instruction sheet would have been immensely helpful and saved some time and frustration. This lack of guidance is a notable drawback, especially for a product that isn't immediately intuitive. That said, once you get the hang of them, they are incredibly easy to use. It’s just a matter of getting past that initial learning curve. After a few tries, I found myself using them with ease, and they've become a go-to for sealing various snack bags in my kitchen. In conclusion, while these chip clip sticks have their quirks, they are overall a useful and economical choice. They perform well with the right kind of bags, and once you master the technique, they're a breeze to use. Have this type of bag sealer from another company but they were different colors and these are white/ clear which I prefer. In addition these were less expensive. Haven’t had long enough to see if they hold up but appear to be comparable.

I am obsessed with thes bag sealers. I use them on much more than chips. Ziplock bags can sometimes be challenging for me to open. These bag sealers are just the ticket!

This took a bit of fiddling and a YouTube video to understand how to use this. It is genius in simplicity. Great for chips and frozen veggie bags. Note that the bag cannot be folded or too bulky to fit.
