I CANNOT recommend this enough. It was the best purchase when I had shoulder/ arm surgery. It keeps it tight with all the Velcro and it’s adjustable to your own liking. Very sturdy. Held up for the 6 months I had to stay semi immobile.

My husband broke his elbow and the sling he got from the urgent care wasn’t great. I ordered this one and he says it’s very comfortable, breathable, and he feels more secure. The ortho doc said it was a great purchase. The Velcro is super strong, it is adjustable, provides the support his arm needs without hurt this back, and he can put it on himself.

My husband broke his elbow and the slings available local were all too short and his hand swelled and wrist became sore as a result. This one fit perfectly. Supported his arm and wrist in the correct position. The soreness decreased and the swelling went down almost completely. Plus it doesn’t pull on his shoulder and neck which the others did and added to his pain. He has returned to work and been able to keep his arm stable with decreased pain. He has been able to put it on by himself after having assistance the first few times.

The sling I was sent home in after bicep tendon surgery was hurting my neck after one day. This was a fantastic upgrade. It fit my arm when it was still swollen, when I had the cold therapy machine wrapped around my arm, and when leaving the house. It was a bit tricky to figure out how to put it on the first few times. The manufacturers had videos on this Amazon listing and on YouTube that made it easier. We never used the slip for the thumb and arm but it didn't affect how it functions or supports. I feel like it has very versatile support points so if one didn't work, there were ample alternatives. One tip to avoid frustration: when you're not wearing it, hang it up. I didn't the first few times and it got twisted, the velcro stuck in the wrong place, it was a nightmare getting it back to the right shape. We hung it over two simple Command hooks (I'm sure a hanger would work just as well) and never had that issue again.

I recently bought the Willcom Arm Sling for Shoulder Injury with Waist Strap for my son who broke his collar bone. Although the material is soft and comfortable, I was not impressed with how difficult it was to adjust and get on. The Velcro system can be frustrating because as soon as you pull it apart, it wants to stick to another part. Additionally, the Velcro needs to be pulled to undo, which can be painful for the person wearing it, especially if they have an injury in the collar bone or shoulder area. Overall, I would give the Willcom Arm Sling a 3-star review. While the softness of the material is impressive, the Velcro closure system can be challenging to work with and not very user-friendly, making it a bit uncomfortable for the injured to got on and off. If you're looking for a simple arm sling, this may not be the best option for you.

Very comfortable. I am really enjoying this sling vs the one the hospital gave me. It comfy and breaths well. I have a broken collar bone and 4 ribs so any think to make me feel comfortable is a plus.
