It's a near perfect fit in my 87 K5.. All hoses and lines matchup perfectly. Only slight catch is my upper radiator hose is larger than the inlet of 1.5 in. Heat it up or grease it up and it will go on. Sadly zero instruction on wiring it up. In hindsight I would have just bought another thermostat control unit that actually had a diagram. Also the sensor would replace the stock sensor and eliminate the temperature gauge on the dash which to me is pointless if I can't tell if the new unit is doing the job. Ended up using my old probe control unit instead. Other than that performs ok. Doesn't keep my truck under 210 when I'm bumping around town or idling a lot but at least it takes longer than my old radiator. ... show more

Purchased this for my '89 GMC Suburban, poor fitment but doable, looks good, and works well if it doesn't get above 100°F in your area. I live in Phoenix Arizona and if it gets above 100°F the fans can't keep the truck cool. Going 80mph on the freeway and the truck will hit 230°.

Very well built. Welded nicely. Works great. The only complaint is the fans could be bigger or more cfm. Installed in 79 Chevy k10, it's fine driving down the hwy but it gets warm sitting in light traffic.

I used this radiator in my 1987 Chevrolet Suburban with a brand new 5.7L TBI. I’m very happy with the appearance and performance. However I’m the second reviewer not to receive the thermostat relay kit that’s advertised as coming with the unit. The seller was very friendly and reached out to help me. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to wait for them to send me another kit so I had to buy one separately and have it shipped quickly. Overall I would recommend though. ... show more

Works great , but a lil short for a factory like install , had to build small risers to raise the radiator to the correct height for upper mounts to fit firmly
