    • Easy To Install, Despite The Tight Space
Installed on my 2014 Chevy Malibu, 2,5L Ecotec motor. Water pump, thermostat (believe they call it something else now) and pulley all combined in one unit. 3 bolts to install, had to disconnect hoses and sensor from old one. Has an O ring mounted to the unit.Bolts right on. Need to obtain the thermostat gasket separately for full installation. I am an amateur and it took me about an hour to install. Getting the serpentine belt back on was actually the most challenging part of the install. Be sure to diagram or take a picture. Make sure to remove the heat shield from front of the motor for additional work room. :) ... show more

Easiest way to replace the water pump in a GM 2.5 L motor. Includes all baskets but the thermostat housing may be different. Check if your old one has a sensor with wires on it. If it does you’ll have to buy this pump and a Speedo I thermostat housing. Good value for the money.

2014 Malibu 2.5 L . Fantastic price for gm part and speedy Amazon delivery. Dealer quoted $600 bucks to to this job🤯. Don’t forget to order the thermostat bypass gasket, as it is not included.
