Expectations exceeded (and illuminated!)
I am so stoked about this purchase. Our outdoor lighting situation was terrible- motion-activated lights that cut out after ten minutes and zero power outlets outside. This umbrella light exceeded every expectation. Three brightness modes, all bright enough to actually see what you’re doing — no more squinting while socializing, reading, or attempting to do “work” outside. Cordless, easy to install, and long lasting. If you consistently forget to turn them off when you're done, you'll get about a week and a half from the batteries on the lowest setting. ... show more

Illuminate Your Outdoor Space with Ease!
I recently purchased the Patio Umbrella Light, and I have to say, it's been a game-changer for my outdoor gatherings. Here's why I think it's a must-have accessory for anyone with a patio umbrella: First and foremost, let's talk about the brightness. With 28 LED lights and 3 brightness modes to choose from, this light provides ample illumination for any outdoor setting. Whether you're hosting a dinner party, enjoying a late-night barbecue, or simply relaxing on the patio, you can adjust the brightness to suit your needs and create the perfect ambiance. I also love the convenience of the cordless design. Powered by 4 AA batteries, this light is incredibly easy to install – simply attach it to your umbrella pole using the adjustable clamp, and you're good to go. No need to worry about finding an electrical outlet or dealing with messy cords – you can place it wherever you need it without any hassle. Another thing I appreciate about this light is its versatility. Not only is it perfect for patio umbrellas, but it can also be used in camping tents or even indoors. Whether you're camping under the stars or hosting a backyard movie night, this light is a convenient and practical lighting solution. Durability is also a key consideration, and I'm pleased to report that this light is built to last. Constructed from high-quality materials, it's weather-resistant and designed to withstand the rigors of outdoor use. Plus, the energy-efficient LED bulbs have a long lifespan, so you can enjoy bright and reliable illumination for years to come. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my purchase of the Patio Umbrella Light. It's bright, easy to install, and incredibly versatile – everything you could want in an outdoor lighting solution. Whether you're entertaining guests or simply enjoying some quiet time outdoors, this light is sure to enhance your outdoor experience. Highly recommend giving it a try! ... show more

Cool light
This is so cool! I found this by accident, but I'm so glad I bought one. We have plenty of lighting around our porch, buy it was still hard to see cards and games on our patio table. This sucker puts out a lot of light. It stays put and doesn't slide down at all. It's easy to put on and take off. I highly recommend this light. ... show more

Well Worth the Money!
Each time you push the on/off button the setting changes - it rotates through 4 settings- OFF, 4 LEDs on, 24 LEDs on or 28 LEDs on. The light is a bright white, which is exactly what I wanted.. To attach the device to the umbrella pole, you have to open the device. There are no written instructions for opening the device and it is not intuitively obvious. Actually, it was counter intuitive to me. There is a latch which looks like a sliding button, but it does not slide. You have to pull it out and that will open the device so it can be attached to the umbrella pole. It is easy to operate once you know to pull rather than slide. You can leave the device on the pole when you crack down the umbrella. When I crank the umbrella down, the umbrella "runner" pushes the light down the pole. I have no problem leaving the light on the pole and tying the umbrella canopy down. When I open the umbrella, I do have to push the light back up the pole. Some reviews said that the light was always on. The "on/off" button on one of the two devices I bought was broken and did not contact at all, so when the batteries were installed, the lights were on. Removing 1 battery turned the light off. I contacted the Seller and they are sending a replacement for the broken device. The other light worked as designed. The plastic switches may be the weak link in the device. I noticed many reviews complaining about not being able to turn the lights off and based on my experience presume it may be the button. The seller was quite willing to replace the faulty device. I expect to buy more of these lights when I buy more umbrellas. I may even use them elsewhere in the yard - they work even without an umbrella pole! I will recommend these to friends as well. 5/21/2018 Update. The seller promptly sent the replacement light, but I was unable to try it until tonight. It works perfectly. And it is definitely bright enough to read by. ... show more

NIce, but cant's close the umbrella
Very bright. A normal 9' umbrella will not close with this attached. It is pushed down as the umbrella closes and prevents full closing. Ok for my use, grandkid weekends but it has to be removed to take down the umbrella.

These lights do the trick in my back yard. I don't use them often but they are always a nice addition of some light.
