Similar LOOKING scoops have broken in half digging into solidly frozen ice cream. We bought this scoop because of our excellent experience with OXO utensils. The scoop is heavy and has a ergonomic covered handle and steel scooper. The only issue we found is that stubborn scooped ice cream sticks to the steel scooper. Our solution is to wet the steel with water before attacking the ice cream. Problem solved. ... show more
