For the price this sideboard is super solid, easy to put together, and looks great. The fluted front and the hardware really make it look expensive. The quality of the parts is what stood out when putting it together. This piece will last awhile for sure and it’s doing great holding heavy items like a dish and silverware set. Of course getting a cabinet delivered from Amazon, you are going to have to put it together yourself. I opted to do that instead of spending $800+ at Jerome’s or living spaces and having it done already. It took me a few hours to get it done, and I needed my husbands help here and there to rotate things because it was super heavy. It seems like it is made pretty well, but you can tell the wood image is a huge sticker of some sort when putting it together. From a person just looking at the piece, you would never know. Even the hole pieces have little stickers to cover them up on the inside where the screws are. It is very solid. Very sturdy. It does not wiggle at all! I absolutely love it. It fills my entry way perfectly and looks great! If your doors have too much of a gap, don’t skip the last step, it is adjustable. You can also adjust the shelving inside to be higher or lower if you are placing large items inside.

I have assembled MANY pieces of furniture as I used to work at a furniture store. This is a very cheaply constructed piece. Do not waste your time or money. The pieces do not fit properly and the directions could be better. The quality of the “wood” is quite poor for the price.

I’m used to buying furniture on Amazon, as I recently got out of college and that’s all I know. And I gotta be honest I am normally used to being frustrated when putting Amazon furniture together and expect a little bit of rattle and imbalance due to parts, not matching up correctly. However, I put on my big boy pants and decided not to buy the cheapest furniture on Amazon available and went with one that looks nicer. I got to say, I was very surprised by the quality of the finish and the attention to detail during the installation and features of this cabinet. The color came out exactly how I want it and there are plenty of spaces too for you to store your stuff. Unlike IKEA they provide a few extra parts for everything so even if your cat decides to come along and play with it, you’ll have an extra during the installation. My favorite feature was the instruction that came with for adjusting the door hinges as it can be complicated, but they have excellent pictorials to ensure that you get it right the first time. A very solid piece of furniture. Very happy with this purchase.

I surprised my partner with another thing to put together :D Getting the doors to line up seemed to be the trickiest part; it’s fine enough now. It looks nice, but I should have ordered 2 two-door cabinets instead. It isn’t as wide as I would have liked, but I knew that was a possibility because the dimensions are clearly stated. It’s not cheap, it’s not expensive. I would pay double for it to be 1/3 wider.
