I will be honest I wasn't sure if buying a nursery recliner online without trying it out first would be wise but based on all the good reviews I thought I would do it! This chair is for my daughter who is expecting - this chair came quick, it was easy to put the 2 pieces together, and most importantly it is sooo comfortable! She and my son-in-law loved the chair. This glider/ recliner chair is pretty good. We have had it for over a year now and it’s held up well. I attached a picture to show the material, it is soft and comfortable. The glide and rock with the recline works great. As for sitting in it. I would say if your a smaller individual this is a great option for a baby room rocker like we use it for. Although if you are a taller individual and or larger, it probably won’t be the best fit for you. Realistically my wife uses it due to me being a bit to tall. The actual reclining chair part goes up very easy with the handle, but getting it back down isn’t the best, and you usually end up pushing it down with your legs, and the click sometimes wakes up the baby. Overall if you’re looking for something, comfortable and affordable for a smaller person, try it out. You can’t go wrong for the price. ... show more

    • BEWARE! ANTI-BABY AND ANTI-MOTHER CHAIR

This rocking chair is comfy on first use, but then you rewlize everything that is wrong with it. It creaks EVERYWHERE. Tried greasing it and that was no help. The recliner also shoots up at top speed and it's incredibly hard to put down. This was for my wife and a woman almost can't put it down especially if you're holding a baby. As a 220lb male it is difficult for me to even close it. Also, my wife is 5'-7" and if she sits all the way back in the chair her feet don't touch the ground and she can't rock. Last but not least, as a recliner you're supposed to be able to lay back. This chair FIGHTS you! It doesn't NOT want to lay back, it will keep applying pressure to you until you give up and decide to sit straight up. This chair is ANTI-BABY AND MOTHER. ... show more

Comfortable and stylish but has a very strong spring. The foot pedal shoots out and takes a lot of core strength to retract (not easy for a mom recovering from labor). I switched the spring attachment points, which helped a little. Also we have noticed a creaking noise when rocking which doesn’t help keep a baby asleep.. going to look under it and maybe try some silicon lubricant ... show more
