After years of HS football and working as a mechanic, I found myself in my mid 40's with bad knees, bad hips, and being a big guy has just taken a toll. I was getting to the point where getting up from lower chairs and such was painful and hard. This chair has been a lifesaver! I purchased this chair for something to sit on after hip surgery. It is okay for a little while not long term. I like the foot rest, side table and pockets. Is a sturdy chair to be apart of outdoor activities.

    • Comfortable for a six-hour event

I used this while setup as a vendor at an outdoor event. I frequently stood to greet customers (can't stand for long periods of time). I felt comfortable throughout the event standing and sitting. I'm approximately 5 foot 5 inches, and I was able to place my feet on the ground if I sat forward a little in the chair or I could use the foot bar and sit all the way back. I was able to change positions as I do in other chairs (office/table chairs), which was really nice. When I opened the box, I ran through several practice sessions of opening and folding the chair. It is still stiff to open the seat and fold it back up, but it is reassuring to know that it shouldn't accidentally collapse on me (or with me in it!). In contrast: At previous events, I used a typical fold up camping chair from a local big-name store that I sank into, and it was very tiring by the end of the day to either squat back into the chair or stand from it. Seems sturdy, I loke foot rest, side bag, side shelf. I like the height. Their dimensions are acurate but I now that I sit in it wish back was higher and seat was deeper. We bought 2 my husband feels the same. I am a fat lady and he's quite tall.

The chair was sturdy, very well constructed, and a comfortable height. We’re in our 80s and were looking for a chair to take to outdoor activities, concerts etc. This chair didn’t have a strap to carry it and it was too heavy for us to carry. It would be perfect for younger folks.
