I bought these to serve two purposes. One: When I have multiple musicians or a whole band in the studio, this makes everyone a little more comfortable. Everybody gets a table to put a drink on, their cell phone, and some prefer it to a music stand. For that purpose it has been appreciated. Almost a luxury for some of the folks I work with. Two: I also got it so visiting friends and family members can eat dinner in the living room like the rest of us. We usually watch TV while we eat on the couch. Now everyone has their own side table or dining tray when they’re visiting. They were not difficult to assemble and they look as classy as I imagine a folding table can. Great to have around and surprisingly stable. They are also relatively dog-safe. I find for our medium to large dogs a cup is more likely to get knocked over by a wagging tail than the table itself getting toppled. Purchased two sets of these tray to use for Christmas dinner so everyone could sit in a circle to enjoy the meal together I must say I was surprised by the quality of the wood they were sturdy and easy to handle and easy to set up- the slide tends to stick a little so that is why only 4 stars other than that they are a nice TV tray ... show more

Compared to everyone else’s results. I found it very easy to put the stand together and I could not find the directions. I just did it on my own pretty sturdy. The tables are pretty sturdy. It does have a little bit of nicks in the table on one but other than that they look awesome exactly what I need. ... show more

It is very difficult to find a high-quality TV tray that folds up in stores away. These are not high-quality wood or finishes. They come rough and scratched up, even a few splits and kind of dirty. The tray holder is not assembled so I had to do that. I called my husband to come do it, but I was able to assemble it before he got to me which was seven minutes; so it’s not difficult. These TV trays are fine for my husband and I to sit in a dark media room and eat while we binge our shows I would not have them out to present to company. ... show more
