This chair is easy to put up once you understand the mechanism. It is sturdy and very comfortable and roomy, great for those of us who appreciate a bit of space. The leg bar is at a perfect height to support your knees. Other chairs either leave your feet dangling or you have to sit so far forwards to reach the bar that you might as well be on a stool. I purchased wooden folding directors chairs for my first art fair so I could be up at eye level with patrons. The center of gravity was wrong and they tried to tip forward every time I put my weight on the step to get in, so I had to develop an awkward hopping routine. When I decided to continue doing art fairs, I knew I needed to upgrade to a chair that didn't try to toss me out when I sat down. I picked this one over similar designs because the mesh net is at an accessible height -- other designs place it higher where access to it is blocked by the front cross pieces. I also like the spring-loaded unfold and re-hold, and that the foot rest is part of the chair, not a component that has to be screwed on after unfolding (as it is with my wooden directors chairs). ... show more

These chairs are comfortable and a great height. I use them for in-person sales events (conventions, fairs, etc) placing me above table height. Multiple day events can be rough on the body when you need to stand. However, this chair placed me at near table height, making it easy to slip off and engage with customers. My only issue is folding it and my height. I'm 5'1", and it's difficult to get the leverage to fold it from my position. ... show more
