Thank GOODNESS for reviews! We truly do rely on the feedback of others before we make purchases and it goes a long way for those that take the time to write them. It is difficult to make the decision on things such as a chair when looking for comfort because everyone's taste is different. For me, this chair is AMAZING! I love the sturdiness and design. The arms are perfect height for my desk and it is just overall a great chair at a great price. The only thing I wish I did was get the charcoal colored one instead of brown but that's my fault. I love the look of this chair. It is not perfect though by any means. After assembling, the back wasn't straight with the rest of the chair. I was able to slightly bend it and then re-tighten the mounts. The material is comfortable. I'm curious to see how long it lasts. The base is sturdy. The armrests are not bent exactly the same, so if you are picky, this may not be for you. One of the bolts was cross-threaded from the factory in the armrest pad. I was able to pull it out and work the threads until it was cleaned up and usable again. For the money compared to similar chairs on the market. This one is well worth the money. ... show more

The chair does not lift up and down! Disappointed in not getting enough help from the company on what I needed to do to fix the problem. Plus, it was difficult to get it packed back up to return it.

This is an awesome chair. Assembly was super easy. I could’ve assembled this chair after consuming an entire bottle of bourbon and throwing a few pills in the mix... thus, those complaining about assembly are... how do you say... really bad at putting things together. The complaints about smell? Also not an issue unless you’re sniffing your chair with your nose pressed against it. Which is probably another issue you should talk to a therapist about. The complaints about missing parts? Also, not an issue. The complaints about squeaking... nonexistent. Tighten the screws, people. Good grief. It’s also a great bang for your buck.     • Attractive chair. 6 months in it is painful!

To preface I am 5'6 - 140-150lbs female. I work from home three days a week, and can be tied to my desk for hours on end, average workday 8-10 hrs. When I first got the chair, I found the assembly relatively easy, the weight of the attachments separately gave a feeling of quality and good design. Assembly by myself took just a little over an hour. Tools and easy to understand directions included. Great look chair, beautiful color. Right way I noticed, the chair really is made for a larger and taller person than myself. The back is tall and the intended ergonomics meant to support the back of a taller person is great, if you are a taller wider person. For myself, the back curves around my shoulders making it difficult to set back as it limits my range of motion. The seat padding was not comfortable from the start, but six months in it is a painful daily experience. The seat shares the curvature design and makes it awkward to get comfortable and is painful on my hips. I will be replacing. ... show more
