Very poorly made. Skillet gets extremely hot on the outside. The description says it varies on and off and I would say, "Yes it does"! It gets very hot then stays off until it's completely cold, then you go again. You have to install the knob on top of the skillet cover. I tightened this by hand. While I was cooking I heard a loud pop and something hit the floor. I saw the decorative part that goes under the knob broke into several pieces. Could I have overtightened it? Maybe so. If it was thicker than a 1/16 of an inch and not domed underneath, it may just last longer than a few minutes after getting warm. The last complaint I would have is that the images show the skillet full of vegetables and it looks like you could cook a meal in the skillet, but it is only about 1 inch deep. The thing I like the most about this product is that I kept the original packaging and can clean and pack it for it's return to the seller. ... show more

I do like it except for a couple of things. It concerns temperature control. There is no off or on on the thermostat as well as no "MIN" to maintain the temperature. It does turn off and on but it is frustrating at times. I have been extra careful in operating it. But I am pleased with the size just wish thermostat was more accurate. ... show more

I don’t like how it seems so cheaply made but other than that it works well , it heats up quickly and lowers heat quickly. It is not very deep either , it’s small (12 inch diameter ) and shallow. I have updated this , there was a question asking if the heating element turns on & off : yes it does which is extremely annoying when frying bacon. The bacon will be frying perfectly then nothing & I either have to remove the lid and move bacon around which doesn’t work immediately sometimes or I have to continually turn it up. After a while the pan became deformed; it’s not plain and even then the thermostat at reaching 5 then turn it low to 1, the control arrow did not light up so this became a defective product. A replacement was made by March and I never asked for a refund. Suddenly, the system just cancelled my replacement then refunded me the amount! This is so mean and irresponsible! Very inappropriate and rude! Even the leadership was so mean and irresponsible. They don’t deserve to be in the position of a supervisor. She cut me off the call. Emma F. This matter must be investigated thoroughly and I want swift action. Any reparation to be undertaken by Amazon.com will be welcomed and appreciated; to make up for the mess up.
