I have had this toaster for a while now and that's when you get a real review of a products performance. Not after you have only toasted a loaf and a couple of bagels. I have used this regularly for multiple loaves of toast and several bags of bagels as well as a fair amount of toaster pastries and for a little economy toaster it had held it's own well. It looks nice on the counter and it is easily cleaned with a quick wipe down and it doesn't streak. It's not fast but it's not slow but it's half fast! I only gave this four stars because of two ‘minor’ deficiencies. If you’re looking for a basic two slice toaster, this is the one to get. It toasts evenly using a simple dial for the darkness. The only ‘minor’ setbacks were that larger slices of bread are a little snug for the slots, and the cord could be a couple of inches longer. I also tested it several times before using to burn off any factory residue from the heating elements. ... show more

In fairness, the toaster functions adequately. It toasts bread and bagels reasonably well, with adjustable settings that accommodate various browning preferences. For a college student on a tight budget or someone looking for a temporary solution, this toaster could suffice. It's undeniably basic and won't dazzle anyone, but it gets the job done. However, the build quality is where this toaster falls short. The cheap plastic exterior feels fragile and insubstantial, making me question its durability over time. The buttons and dials lack the reassuring solidity found in higher-end models, and the overall design leaves much to be desired aesthetically. In retrospect, I should have managed my expectations better considering the price point. Setting knob is very sensitive. the toasting accuracy is way off. with just a slight increase in adjustment, your toast goes from light to burnt, in less than 1/4 turn.

Great at toasting bread, even Texas toast. But the slot is very tight for bagels, and some don’t fit. These are not extra wide slots, so if you wanna be able to toast bagels and things wider I would get another toaster. Because now I’m gonna have to buy another toaster and save this one for just in case. ... show more
