Some of the listing pictures are misleading. These pebbles won't be tumbled to round or a high polish like some of the images showcased. These are rough pebbles and look tumbled just enough to take the edges off, so will look like gravel. Theyre also about twice the price of what I can source per pound for glass pebbles locally from a retail store. Glass pebbles will look fully tumbled so rounder and shiny. This looks like rough gravel. I think the glass gravel merchant has this guy beat at half the price, but not concerned with the difference to reverse the purchase. The size from their rock crusher is, at least, the correct size I was looking for at peas size, and at least they bothered enough to clear the sharp edges off. So thanks alot. ... show more

The white stones will work perfectly for my garden dioramas. I am a tad obsessed with landscaping materials especially for my miniature artwork. The stone sizes are appropriate for the scale size with which I work. I did add some of the stones to my small aquarium. The stones are a beautiful pristine white. The seller described the product accurately and with some creative thinking, it could be used for multiple varied projects. Nice organic material! Can't go wrong ordering this product! The stones arrived quickly and totally intact, with absolutely NO damage to be reported. The weight of the product was also accurate as described by the seller. I love the way this white gravel looks on top of the soil for my succulents. It really makes them stand out more. I was never one to use gravel as a topper for my succulent pots but I realize after using it, that it helps keep the lowest petals from coming in contact with the soil, which helps present rot. Plus it adds stability. I will say that the gravel was very powdery. You make want to pre-rinse them. Even after putting the travel in these three pots, two of which are good sized, I probably still have enough left over for a couple bigger pots. So for the price I think it is fair, but that also depends on individuals and their use of it. ... show more

These rocks are very white, smooth, and clean. They look fine in my glass votives with small succulent arrangements, but they are too expensive for me because they don't go very far.

These seem like fine rocks for an aquarium or garden. They are smooth and a nice, convenient size. I find it strange that they have so much powdered rock on them. I guess whatever type of rock it is must be somewhat soft. But they wash up fine. No complaints here.
