Bench is a great size very sturdy once it’s put together. But if you buy it, you should have a wrench and normal size tools. Took about 45 minutes to put together, but with real tools I think we’d still be doing it with the little baby Allen wrench.

I very rarely write reviews but given all the negative feedback on this bench, I felt compelled to share. The bench arrived about an hour ago, delivery was 5 days early, and it’s already assembled and in place. VALUE: for the money is perfect. I wasn’t looking for a park bench, more for the look in my case, but it supports 551lbs so should not be a problem anyway. It’s lightweight, well painted with no damage, shipped well. ASSEMBLY: it was ridiculously easy! You will need a screwdriver and a wrench but if you don’t have those at home, maybe you shouldn’t be buying furniture that needs assembly. Do NOT tighten everything down until it’s mostly assembled. Parts that are not square will never fit correctly so wait until you’ve got the top slats in the holes to tighten everything down, people! This is a basic rule for putting things like this together! Put the triangle corner pieces in last. All in it took me about 40 min to put together- no frustration whatsoever. I like the look. It wasn’t that hard to build though it was from scratch. It reinforced in the right places. Only question is will it last outside in the elements.
