Why would you put a textured bottom on an electric frying pan? I didn’t even bother to cook with it. Seems like it would be a nightmare to clean. I’ve been cooking on electric frying pans my whole life, my mother did, and I have never seen a textured bottom.

This electric skillet is NOT worth the money I paid for it. It takes too long to heat up for one. It does not have a smooth bottom so trying to fry eggs is impossible! Unfortunately I waited to long to use it and find out I didn't like it. So now I'm stuck with it.
