The temperature on the frying pan keeps going off and on and does not maintain the temperature when you are trying to cook. Was trying to fry chicken and it was a mess because the temperature Did not maintain like it should for frying. it kept turning off and on.

It works really well except for the fact that the temperature control is off about 50 degrees. This can be rectified by just setting it to a higher temperature, but it defeats the purpose of setting a specific temp if I have to double check it with a thermometer anyways.

Don't bother. After only the second use the copper coating started peeling off. I've used skillets for over 60 years and had some good ones - this is NOT one of them.

The first thing I cooked in the skillet was a pancake. When I went to flip it, the gold coating came off and stuck to the pancake. I returned and went with a different brand that had a double granite coating.
