After the first time it's assembled and all the velcro straps are attached it's sturdy with walls/screens attached. It's heavy enough on a normal sunny day to stay in place with the ground stakes alone. Haven't used it on a very windy day yet. I can recommend as a portable screened room.

While the assembly was easy once I realized what the instructions were trying to tell me to do, the product as a whole, is not sturdy AT ALL. I secured all the feet as instructed AND tied down the tent with the provided string, and the canopy blew over. It was not during a storm. It was not during a particularly windy day. I was enjoying the gazebo with my mother and all of a sudden it lifted over our heads and blew over. Thank God we were not injured. The rope given is crap. All four sides snapped. I was able to right the gazebo and secure it again. A couple of days ago, I went out to sit in the gazebo and noticed one side caved in. I thought perhaps that the hinge collapsed. Worse. The crossbars broke. And not where the "cross" is, both pipes broke in half. I live in NY, not windy unless there are storms, but we haven't had hurricanes or bad thunderstorms yet this year. It's not like this gazebo is cheap by any means, so I think that I should get at least a season (preferably more) out of it instead of less than half. Save your cash and invest in something better.

The gazebo looked lovely, it kept out summer bugs, mosquitos and all such annoying bugs. But, a moderate wind picked it up. It was bolted to a deck. The frame was not sturdy enough for the canvas top. The frame snapped and twisted and now is a pile of worthless scrap metal. I am disappointed and upset.

This is a temporary shelter for our deck until we have the funds to build a permanent structure. This is absolutely beautiful and easy peasy to put up.. I did it myself within 10min, even faster if you have a second person. The only problem I have is the random holes (I assume for venting) in canvas.. we wanted the mosquito netting to keep bugs out but the smart bees and mosquitoes go right through these holes
