    • The best one we have owned for the money!
We have owned several different pop up gazebos for our deck over the years and this one seems to be holding up the best. We have had a lot of rain, but not the strong winds that we have had in the past though I think it will hold up. It does a great job of keeping the bugs out. I read many of the assembly advice in the reviews which helped a lot. I managed to put it up by myself but would have been easier with 2 people. Make sure to secure the base of all the poles and use the lines to secure the top corner so that is stands solid. Update 9/8/23 We had our first rain storm with strong winds - the worst I've seen in a long time with branches and sticks everywhere. I expected to find the gazebo destroyed but found it standing without any damage (as far as I can see). What surprised me was the white tether/line cords had all snapped. I discovered that I could easily snap them with my hands - definitely poor quality. Do yourself a favor and purchase real lines to secure the gazebo (they attach to the top of each corner). One other note - I have 4 of the 6 feet secured with 50 lb blocks which undoubtedly contributes to the gazebos sturdiness. ... show more

Setting up the gazebo was easy. I did 90% of the initial work by myself and just required assistance to get it fully open. It's a beautiful structure. Very well made. Amazingly, it came down just as easily and fit in the carrier bag nicely. Very compact. I would highly recommend it. For the money, you can't beat it. ... show more

Pretty much as advertised! It does the trick! It’s nice but the leg are not very adjustable. You have to be careful when putting up and down. It’s somewhat sturdy but not heavy duty!

    • Hexagonal Canopy a Hit With My Family
So far the canopy has kept insects, especially yellow jackets, from bothering us while dining outside. Our young granddaughters enjoyed being able to go in and out of any of the six sides of the canopy by easily unzipping the panels. The pop-up feature was somewhat challenging at first, mainly due to there being only 1 physically fit person available to assemble the shelter.     • Pretty but...
It's hard to assemble and don't leave it up without guy lines. It leaks in the rain and the screen doesn't go all the way to the bottom so bugs still get in. the velcro that attaches the roof was too wide and so there is a gap and one of the legs doesn't snap in to place. The directions are impossible to figure out as well. Step one: velcro the roof to the center cover, you have to do this while it's semi folded up so it's a little difficult. Step two: Extend it outwards to full size and adjust the legs upward. Step three: Pull out the extenders at the corners for the over hang and insert them into the cover's slots. Step four: Finish extending the legs upward. Step five: Put the screen on the outside of the polls, they velcro low at the corners and on the high beams at the doors. Good luck. ... show more

This is really worth the money. This is my third one. The other two got destroyed by falling trees during bad storms. Both lasted through two Summers though. I do reinforce mine with strings to the ground of my porch. My porch is an extension of the house and high above the ground so the gazebo is subject to high winds. I got this gazebo to go around our 12ft above ground Intex pool. The fit was perfect. I wanted the screen to be right up against the wall of the pool to keep the insects out and the octagon shape of this product made it work perfect for what I wanted. I am not sure how many summers that this tent will hold up but at this price range you cannot expect for years of use I imagine. We have not had any major storms yet so I am waiting to see how that works out...I set up the tent before putting up the pool. I feel like it may have been a hassle to try lifting the tent over the pool once it was full of water, you prob just need a few people to lift and keep it balanced if you were to go that route. ... show more
