UPDATE!! 1 year and 4 months later, my gazebo has made it through 2 hurricanes and a lot of windy days. Still holding strong and I am still in love with it as I was the first day I bought it. It does need a good washing but besides that, I’m still VERY happy with my purchase. I am typically not the one to leave reviews although I probably should more often. I HAD to leave one for this amazing Gazebo. I did A LOT of research before buying this Gazebo and I am so glad I picked this one. First off, I don't know why a lot of other reviews said it took them hours upon hours to set up because it only took my husband and I one hour. The instructions are descent to follow although I wish they would have showed us weather the screen & curtains went inside or outside of the poles. This gazebo checks all the boxes, Sturdiness was my main concern and it DEF is that for sure. The poles are thicker than any other Gazebo I looked at online and they truly are in person. I still may put some concrete bricks underneath to screw it down as I live in Florida and would hate for it to blow away in a hurricane. OVERALL, I AM IN LOVEEE WITH IT! I can relax and hang out with the kids by the pool without the Florida sun killing me. The only tiny issue was we had a couple small pieces missing but let me tell you how AMAZING this company was....I emailed them, and before I knew it the pieces were delivered at my door. I cannot say enough about this gazebo and the seller. If you are like me and overanalyze and spend months searching around for things like this and obsessing over the reviews, I promise you choose this one. you will not be disappointed. THANK YOU to the seller and amazon :)

This gazebo is extremely nice and well worth the money. I was leery at first about the assembly when reading other reviews, however if you start assembling the gazebo, keeping in mind that according to reviews it is going to be difficult and expecting it to be a pain, it really isn’t bad. But take your time. Piece of advice before you put the top bars in place put both pieces of the roof material on it, then put the roof bars on the frame, finally attaching the roof material to the side frames. It’s been 3 months and the Gazebo has held up great, ( I did attach it with concrete screws to my patio because the area is known to be like a strong wind tunnel, but the gazebo has held up wonderfully! No complaints whatsoever. I’m finally enjoying my backyard bug free!

I am thrilled with this purchase. This is a well made gazebo that should last for many years. Yes the directions could have been MUCH better. Very lucky that my husband is a builder and adept at putting things together. For the most part it was he and I building, at times we had more help. We were missing some critical parts so project was delayed about 6 days for us to receive them. The company was very nice to work with just wish they’d had a quicker shipping option for the missing parts. I would absolutely buy this again. In fact I wish they made and 8x8 to go over our hot tub and is snatch it up. Very attractive and with the assembly.

The first thing I noticed when I opened the box was that some of the beams were already rusted. Apparently whatever protective anti-rust coating they used was only applied on the exterior of the pergola's frame but not the interior, so it was already rusted on arrival and throughout the very short life of the pergola (less than a year) it rusted further even with repeated anti-rust treatments (since they're difficult to apply inside the frame). Installation was a complete and total nightmare. There are only four steps in the instructions, so there is a lot of confusion as to which parts are which and the order in which things should be done. Many mistakes were made before they were rectified - these mistakes could have been avoided if the instructions were clearer. The provided anchors are a complete and total joke - they are metal pins that have no hope of anchoring down the structure and would break very easily; this structure demands concrete screws ("topcons") and we had to buy them separately. Because the beams that support the canvas don't have smooth endcaps, they frequently tore the canvas over time due to wind and the beams ejected outward, nearly hitting vehicles in the parking lot on more than one occasion. We frequently had to sew these holes together with very thick thread - thicker and stronger than the canvas itself - but new holes would form elsewhere. Eventually the canvas itself ripped entirely from the middle (not from the ends of the beams). In less than a year after purchase, we now have a badly rusted frame with no canvas. We will try to contact the manufacturer to see if we can get a replacement canvas as a short term solution until we replace the entire thing, which was a horrible purchase from start to finish. We very much regret this purchase.

I was able to build the pieces and attach most of the structure by myself. It does require 2 more people to hold together as final assembly is done and 4 people to move, one on each leg. You will need 2 hours of help for final parts to attach and hang the canopy. Do yourself a favor and get a socket wrench and do not screw too tightly. The directions are really, really bad and you will have to redo much of your work as you see it coming together. The beams are solid but the brackets are soft. The 4 inside brackets bent and 1 broke as we put in to place. Update, parts were quickly replaced and it looks great. Thank you Outsunny
