This is a decent standing lamp. It is easy and quick to assembly and it looks very nice in my office. However, it is not the brightest so wherever you decide to use it, make sure there are other sources of light as well. The remote works great and is a nice touch. The lamp is durable and should last for a very long time. If you have other sources of light and don't mind this one not being that bright, I recommend this product. ... show more

I wanted a standing lamp for my office at home. I don't always want the main lights on but I still want to be able to see in my office. This lamp provides ample lighting for me. It has 4 different temperature colors, but I leave it on the whitest since I find it to be clearer light. My favorite thing about it is that it has a remote that I can turn the lamp on or off without having to go over to it. I can sit at my computer desk and control it using the remote. The remote even has a timer option on it, so it will automatically turn off after an hour. It has different settings on the remote too such as reading, computer work, night time, baby feeding, etc. My wife prefers to have something more fashionable and griped at me for buying this lamp because she said it looks too plain. However, I'm perfectly happy with it and it does a fantastic job for what I needed it for. ... show more

The lamp is fine but the remote controls the bulb so when the bulb fails the lamp is no longer remote controlled. I have not been able to find a replacement bulb. Update found the replacement bulb for $12.

Why do I like this lamp so much?! Well to the naked eye looks just like a regular lamp and it would be except for the fact that it has a really cool remote control! The remote lets you set it on a timer to turn off, it also allows you to choose whether or not you want LED bright light or if you want a warmer light. You also get to choose how bright you want it or how dim you want it to be. Me personally? I prefer a warm light that is not bright but kind of somewhere in the middle to where I can still see it around the master bedroom for a soft ambient glow. So I love the remote, I think it's a great addition to what would be just a simple lamp. I haven't had to get up one time to turn it off, I literally just use the remote from across the room. Hubs added the batteries to the remote (they don't come with the product)....I think it's two AAAs if I'm not mistaken. Got some photos so you can see if the lamp and all this functions are right for your home/business, etc. ... show more

I wanted a new (reading) floor lamp for my bedroom. This lamp was very easy to put together, as you can see from the photo. All you had to do was basically just screw each piece of the lamp poles together. The included directions were also pretty straightforward. However, what upset me was that there were NO INSTRUCTIONS for HOW to use the included remote control, that controls this ENTIRE lamp? If you look at the instructions in the pictures, there are various translations for how to put the lamp together but not ONE instruction regarding how to properly use this remote control, which controls this entire floor lamp? I was pretty disappointed about that. People are paying for a product and want to make sure they can get the most, full understanding and usage, out of this product. Also, I am not too fond that this remote control solely operates the entire floor lamp. If you lose this remote control (which is rather big by the way...it is larger than my fan remote and almost as big as my TV remote?!)....all you can do is click this floor lamp on/off. There are NO BOTTONS on the lamp itself, so that you can adjust the lighting, everything is done via the remote control. Again, I wish the instructions would have explained each function on this remote control. For instance, I have no idea what the "K" button or "bottle/marker" buttons mean? More clarification is needed in these instructions. Lastly, I wish this lamp were a bit brighter. It dimly lights up my bedroom. It is almost like I must be right underneath it, to utilize its benefits. Overall, this is an "okay " remote control floor lamp. I do not think I would recommend this to others. ... show more
