I bought this to supplement a desk lamp and it works great. Provides lots of light and like the ability to control the color as well as the brightness. Item was easy to put together. Product quality is good for the price. Glad I could put the lamp in a corner as the base is not that large or heavy (though it appears to be the same size and weight of similar lamps). The remote is pretty good also. Didn't need to do anything for it pair. Based on the general feel of the remote I doubt it will last long but all the functions can be controlled on the lamp itself. Overall a good lamp for the money. Would be a 4 star if you could dim it enough to serve as a night light. ... show more

I went cheap and got the ones with more colors at half the price. Though this one is limited to temperatures of whites, it gets brighter than the other ‘smart’ lights I tried and works better.
