ETA: The vendor reached out to me, and has coordinated to make the situation right with me. Still not a tent I would count on to protect against heavy rain, but I have to say I am very impressed with the customer service, and as stated before, even with the slight problems I had with the tent, I it is a pretty good value. I bought this towards the end of June to take camping to have some place to hang out in, incase of rain. The tent went up easily, and feels ok. Not the sturdiest thing in the world, but not supper flimsy, certainly in line with the price. The tent worked great for a few days, all we used it for was shade as the first few days we had great weather. On our third night, we got a pretty steady rain for several hours, and the tent leaked significantly. I couldn't see any obvious holes/tears, but water dripping from the roof in a bunch of places, at a pretty good rate. I was pretty disappointed in the performance. It was enough that I was going to return the tent, but after coming home from the trip, I found out the return window has already closed. Not thrilled, but for the price I can't say I am shocked. I might try to take the cover off and seal all the seams, hopefully that will help with the leaks. It wasn't a big deal for my use, but the walls really don't come together with the corners all that well either. There were some pretty significant gaps at the corners. ... show more

    • It collapsed after a rainy night ; good customer service!

The canopy is not too difficult to setup but it did not stand for a rainy day after 2 weeks of use. I have it set up under a big oak tree. Two poles were nailed down on the floor and two other poles were hold by sand bags. It hold up pretty good under a light storm but with a rainy day. For some reasons, two sides of fabric formed sac like a water pouch. The weight of the water damage the 2 frames as well as one of the pole. Another word, the design of the frame structure cannot hold up a small water puddle. I had 1 metal bar broke off and 2 metal bars bend in the result of water puddle on the tent. There is no clear instruction how to tie the tend down to the support frame bar to avoid sagging on tent fabric. I am still not sure why water cannot be run off from the tent. Anyway whoever plan to use it. Make sure figure a way tie tight the tent. Customer service reached out me regarding the incident and offering alternative to recover the damage. ... show more

I think for the price I'm very happy with this. I got it for my wife's craft business we have only been to one event so far. But it did rain and the sides on this attach quickly and kept her stuff dry. The material seems a little cheap and flimsy but at this price I feel it's adequate. My plan was to use this canopy as a rain cover when I have the ramp on my little cargo trailer down and I’m working in it. I also had a few things that I wanted to store in it, out of the weather. It was after I unpacked it and was putting the top on that I saw the warning label, that is attached to the top, stating that it is not designed to be used in the rain, wind or other inclement weather. Since I had begun setup and the location I placed it in is relatively sheltered by a fence, the house and the trailer, I decided it would be okay. I got it up and pulled out the walls. I felt the walls were not very strong, but I attached them. The Velcro straps to hold them on do not grip well, the corners don’t come to the corner post that well, the zippers look like they won’t last more than a few zips. I’m not crazy about taking it all down, packing it up and trying to take it to a shipping store to return it. It’s very heavy and impossible for me to move it in the shipping box. Plus it’s not worth the time and effort it would take. I’m disappointed and disgusted with the walls. The frame seems sturdy and I like the ease of adjusting the height. I guess I’m stuck with it, but I’m ingenious enough, I think I can come up with a solution to substitute the poorly designed walls. It is raining tonight, so I will see what happens. Collapsed. Bent and broken frame. Must figure out a way to return it or be out money. DO NOT PURCHASE unless you just want it for decor. Not suitable for anything like a craft fair, if it rained at night, you would come back to a collapsed, saturated site. ... show more

I put it up for the first time in a craft fair and it rained really hard with some wind and it literally broke the top of the tent. The metal part at that. Theres no return policy and theres no limited 1yr warranty from the original company sonit sux i used it once and it broke at a craft show and it also ruined things i created. ... show more
