Completely dry after 5 hours of golf in the rain

I bought this jacket the week before a golf scramble when the forecast suddenly changed to heavy rain all day. I needed something lightweight that would actually keep me dry without feeling bulky, and this jacket ended up exceeding my expectations. I've been using it for about two months now and wear it anytime I'm out in the rain. During that golf tournament, I spent about five hours outside in steady rain, and I stayed completely dry the entire time. I honestly couldn't believe how well it performed. The fit is another thing I really like. It's slightly roomy, which makes it easy to layer over other clothes without feeling restrictive. The hood is a great size and actually stays on comfortably, and I really appreciate that the pockets have sealed linings so my phone and other small items stayed dry too. The jacket is lightweight but still feels well made and durable. As a bonus, several of the other women in my group complimented both the color and the fit throughout the day. A very flattering and functional jacket!

Buy this rain jacket! Having tried to find an affordable jacket of good quality from Amazon over the years, this jacket exceeded my expectations for fit, quality of fabric, and usefulness. First, the fit is true to size with a smidge of extra room for a flannel shirt or thin sweater layered underneath. I'm 5'8" with broad shoulders and athletic build, and bought the XL as my arms are long and I want to cover my rear. The jacket is lined in a soft, breathable mesh on top and a smooth fabric below waist, allowing it to slip over clothes easily. There are a variety of pockets placed nicely which don't add bulk. I bought the fog blue color which is very pretty, like a periwinkle flower. Today I'm testing the jacket in the rain as it's light showers all day. I'm confident I'll be toasty and dry in my new jacket, and may even get a second in another color if it performs in the wet conditions.

Cute and truly functional!

I bought this for camping and hiking with my scouts. I love it! The fit is perfect! It TRULY is water proof. I have worn it in torrential downpours and have stayed dry underneath. It’s so lightweight and easy to shove into your hiking/day pack. It’s a great wind breaker too which comes in handy during our Midwestern springtime where the temps can range between 30° and 60°. I pair a hoodie with my rain jacket and I’m set! It has zipper pockets that keep my keys and phone safe while doing things like hiking. Machine washable, I just hang to dry. I’ve had it about two years now and it works just as well as it did the first day. The colors are great - I get compliments all the time on how cute this jacket is. I highly recommend this coat!

Size up for layers and comfort

Nice jacket. Looks like it would have done the job as a rain shell. Unfortunately this is certainly a “size up” type of item and you will definitely want to go a size higher than you think. I had to return it as although the size I bought fit and I could zip it, it left zero room for any layers underneath. The hips in particular are very tight if you have any extra curves or have larger hips but the chest is also tighter than I expected it to be given the measurements.

Great lightweight packable waterproof rain jacket!

This is a pretty great jacket. It is packable and waterproof. The hood lays flat on your back when not in use. There are a lot of pockets to store items so you don’t need to carry a purse. Some have said that it’s thick and they would be too warm in it, but I don’t see that at all. It is insulated, but it is in no way a heavy rain jacket in my opinion. I bought this for my trip to Amsterdam this September. I am not expecting cold weather, but I am expecting wet weather. I am 5’8” tall and weigh 145 pounds. I bought a small and a medium to compare. I am returning the small and keeping the medium. I feel that the size chart is far more generous than the jacket actually is. I am a 38B and I needed the medium. The small would’ve been too tight across my middle and it would’ve been hard to move my arms. Hope this helps!

Quality Jacket!

It was raining when I received it and I tested it right away. It's definitely waterproof!! The jacket is surprisingly pretty nice! It's got a mesh lining inside with a zipper pocket. It has a chest zipper pocket and both the front pockets have zippers. They all seem like quality zippers. There's upper and lower drawstrings on the hood. There are also velcro wrist adjustments to customize the fit and it comes with a bag to roll it up in if needed! I did size up one size and it fits pretty perfect! Nothing feels cheap! It's thin, not in a cheap way tho. Definitely cuts the chill and would be great if you want to layer underneath. I'm getting ready to hike the Rockies and I'm glad I ordered this!

Stayed dry in constant light rain

I have a marching band kiddo and attend many football games and all day band competitions. I wore this jacket at a football game in constant light rain in the upper 50s/low 60s Fahrenheit. I had a tshirt underneath and was comfortably warm and the material kept me completely dry. I usually choose medium for a little extra room, but several reviews said to size down. The small fit me well and was plenty roomy. This jacket is marketed for spring and summer, so I don’t feel I would try to wear a sweatshirt or thicker clothing under it. The hood tightens to keep blowing rain out, and there are several other areas you can tighten in the waist, sleeves and back. I also like the pouch you can put the jacket in, which will come in handy for keeping the jacket in my stadium bag. There are also several zip up pockets for my phone, battery charger, hot hands, etc. I researched water proof jackets for at least an hour before this purchase and am very happy with this choice.

Great, lightweight rain jacket! It is also insulated against wind. Very easy to fold and stow in the bag it came with or in a suitcase/backpack. I love the color. Definitely kept me dry on a recent trip where it rained everyday. I appreciate that all of the pockets have zippers. I ordered a small and still has room for a sweater or a fleece jacket under. I'm 5'6" and about 128lbs. Athletic. I normally wear a small on tops and a 28 waist on bottoms.
